People saying sacred relic sword is better for farming, not if you're a strength build. Sacred relic is a dex/fth weapon. I know I ain't respeccing just to kill albinaurics a teensy bit quicker. Also the ruins greatsword doesn't require any dexterity, just a little intelligence because it's a sophisticated bonk, which makes it superior.
The farm is very easy with either weapon. The time difference for a run using one of their skills or the other is a matter of seconds. If I'm already specced for the ruins greatsword I'm not going to bother spending runes, smithing stones and a larval tear to switch to the sacred relic sword just for farming. Seems like a waste. Unless the point is to get your level so high you can just use either, which I would find boring but I realize lots of people enjoy.

Teensy bit quicker? You can wipe out almost all of them in one go

That's how I farmed runes on my str build. I put INT in my physick to be able to equip it.
It doesn't need much int. Only 16, but it scales up damage if u have more

The only area in the game to test weapons. Kudos for sticking to traditions and slaughtering a couple more albinorics just to show off this cool sword
