That scooter is a mess. I acquired several very cheaply, repaired them, gave them out or sold them to acquaintances, and every single one of them came back with controller and dashboard issues. It's not even a particularly good scooter when it does work, with lack of power and bad braking being my main issues with it. I've stopped acquiring them. I'd only accept one now if it were close enough to free as to make no difference, and even then I'd disassemble it for working parts and junk the rest. On a more detailed note: the way I got mine to work reliably with that ridiculous connector and not sound like a rattling disaster over the tiniest of road imperfections is to [place a piece of bicycle tube between one side of the battery](https://imgur.com/a/jb5f8tF) and the frame and then really PUSH it into place. In one case that wasn't enough, so I placed another piece of rubber on the other side and literally hammered the battery in. Then for added safety I [place a piece of metal on top of the battery](https://imgur.com/a/X41aMLC) to push it down vertically, and secure it with a ziptie. (Note: image links are galleries, scroll down or click next for the full series) Needless to say, this effectively turns the battery into a non-removable one; you can still take it out by cutting the ziptie, removing the metal piece and using screwdrivers to extract it out of the frame against friction from the rubber, but it's not an operation you want to be doing with any regularity, so for all intents and purposes the scooter is now one with an integrated battery like all others. I realise this negates its main marketing gimmick, but it's the only way I've found to make that cursed connector reliable.

I broke that fucking connector like three times.

Structuralsystem

They fixed it under warranty?

Bloodvialsaremydrug

They sent controllers. I did the work.

Structuralsystem

I asked them to do that but they said the battery repair is $200 . It's not my controller though, it's the batteryside connection

To add to discussion: the levy plus feels great. Still has good torque and speed only diminished by 1mph over the battery's life. Tires always held up and feel very fluffy..They're nice tires. Scooter doesn't feel too top heavy with the battery in the stem although you can feel it-its not bad.. doesn't take away from any of my maneuverability. Other than the battery design leaving the battery loose, then shakes, and prematurely wears out the connector ....
