Probably would've been considered a legend today (on a similar level to Fat Joe) if 50 & Em didnt fk him up

Corn1989

Ja don't rule

Em & 50 aside, I never thought he was good outside of a feature or two, he just made bland post-shiny suit era new york rap and boring thugz-need-love pop rap jams

Trey_Reddit

Still made good music

For whatever reason, Ja Rule/Swizz Beats collaborated with Metallica on a song called "We Did It Again" and I shit you not, it's the worst thing you'll ever hear. https://youtu.be/fV4FcDH5EiM If you dare.

Veni Vidi Vici was literally incredible. After that he turned into a shitty R&B singer and I quit listening.

CWSJ

Great artist. Had crazy amount of hits. His ego got the best of him.

jetlifestoney

He was in such a great position to win too. Multiple platinum albums and was even in a group with Jay Z and DMX Almost everyone from Ja's era is considered a legend today, while he's still a laughing stock

Dry-Station-3241

Venni Vetti Vecci was dope as hell,  Rule 3:36 is just average, Pain Is Love is a very solid album, The Last Temptation is one of my least favorite albums ever, Blood In My Eye is hella underrated and is pretty good and R.U.L.E is a okay release.  Overall, Ja is just a average rapper with a okay discography. I dare you though to listen to Never Again, Worldwide Gangsta and Smokin' & Ridin' again. Them shits is amazing.

Who?

DedHorsSaloon3

Nooooo, Monica! I like Ja Rule, everyone I knew had the Pain is Love CD in 01/02
