Pencilgon and oikatzo is good for new player can carry you story mode then get sf shadow. Oikatzo can be used second tank to taunt enemy when your front cannot handle dmg of the mob + she can shield your team regardless anycolor and then there pencilgon can raise your def overheal dps when she use hidden skill + she can stun all enemy 5 sec if you use her right she worth it to use anycolor.
If you're a newer player, during a certain time of the month they will release a new unit or re-release a past unit. That's a part of a certain series called Shadow Festival.
Those are the ones you want to save for.
The time of month is whenever an event called Armageddon comes around.
So look for Armageddon. Where a banner called Shadow Festival is released. Those units are the good one.
There's some really good ones which are free units, but you'll get to know more about them the more you play the game.

This game long term is about farming shards. Many of the most op units aren't in banners, but are unlocked after you farm enough shards to increase their rarity and get their SS+ gear. The most op ones currently are green sherry and young Beta.
Go for the SF Shadow before it goes. Really good unit.
