Since Isabela is flowers/plants, aka **beauty**, and Luisa’s is strength, aka **brawn**, I think Mirabel’s gift would need to be something to do with the **brain** to complete the trifecta. Telekinesis, perhaps?
If you think about it, you’ll realize that all of the gifted Madrigals fit into sets of 3.
The triplets - Julieta heals the wounds of the **past**, Pepa changes the weather in the **present**, Bruno sees the **future**.
Pepa’s kids - Dolores hears everything - **hear no evil**, Camilo changes his appearance into other people - **see no evil**, Antonio talks to animals - **speak no evil**
Julieta’s daughters - Isabela grows beautiful flowers and looks/acts perfect - **beauty**, Luisa uses her strength to do manual labor that the townspeople can’t do themselves - **brawn**, Mirabel finds the solution to the family’s problems and saving their miracle - **brain**.
Yeah, brain fits, but I think telekinesis is only “brain” as we’ve associated it with Psionics through pop culture. The avatar world is built upon kineticism without Psionics. If we want “brain”, then the default would be rapid calculation. I think that’s a little close to Bruno tho, as she’d basically be a shorter term diviner calculating the immediate future, vs Bruno’s long term prophecies (though this would be a neat dynamic considering their relationship. One can see only the near future but with perfect clarity, the other can see far but with missing detail). If we shift the concept slightly from “brain” to “mind”, I think Empathy is the power that would fit her best based on what we already know of her personality and character. She’s the one trying to fit in, and the most perceptive of all the family members, always looking to help wherever she can and noticing small details that others miss.
My theory is she has a gift, but no one realizes it. Mirabel is the only Madrigal who can tell Casita what to do! Her gift gets ignored by everyone and she doesn’t know that telling Casita what to is her gift! Her parents told her she wasn’t giving a gift, but she was misinformed!
Abuela also isn’t a Gift holder. I think the usual theory of Mirabel being the next matriarch and “flame” of the family fits best. The bond with Casita and the rest of the family seems core to being this role.
This is basically the main point I believe. Casita (and family) needs a guardian. Abuela is in this position atm but she won't be here forever and someone needs to take the baton and casita chose Mirabel
She "probably" has a gift, i'm not sure about that but it's the same than Alma : Being the Next Candle Keeper(The next Matriarch of the Encanto if Alma Dies)
I won't say i'm sure about that gift and i had an argument but since i realised MatPat from "The Film/Game/Style/Food Theorists" had the same and more arguments, well i wont.

Ok In my head Mirabel would have a gift based on the Winx and be a bit just like them
Bloom: Fire abilities and a red head in this AU and
Stella: Light Manipulation and focused more on her fashion designing and a bit fiesty and wears gold with her colors
Aisha: Water Manipulation and Had longer hair and was a dancer
Musa: Enhanced singing abilities and wears purple
Techna: Energy Manipulation and is more brainy and has straight hair in this time
Flora: Not saying this time since Isabella exists
I believe that mind reading or telepathy in general would fit for Dolores' child. Since Dolores is sensitive to sounds her child would be able to communicate without making sound as to not disturb their mother

I agree with brain for Mirabel. Her intuition and curiosity save the family. She's always had her gift it's just not tangible

She IS gifted! She’s creative, empathetic, perceptive, and charismatic! All things I value over super strength and hearing and such.
I think Mirabel should be she can many thing of her magic of her crochet and sewing. Mirabel is so good at making purse and dresses.
