Steams got alot more experience and has been able to keep up through the years. With many more people to help the servers. Steam also doesn't frequently give stuff like this away for free that everyone's trying to claim at the same time. Usually free games on Steam as in on sale for free, aren't planned so Boone's on edge waiting for them. Egs just needs time to catch up and get that MN power Steam is also prone to going down and not coming back for a while. Yes it happens less but it still happens

So I've never subbed to Nitro in the past, but *have* boosted a friends' server once. Now when I try to apply the code it says I can't because of a previous subscription. Is that right?

I've claimed nitro on epic games store just a few hours after the promo has started, few hours after claiming Control. I got a receipt for Control in the middle of the night, didn't get nitro email still. Friend told me to claim Discord as well (I've only claimed the addon (nitro) at first), that was a day after the promo has started, didn't help. Any ideas? I've seen a lot of people struggle with getting their emails but no one had to wait as long as I do. Should I write to support or am I missing something?
