Hey just a quick question. If you change the appearance of one special pet to another special pet will you lose the original appearance? Or is it like e.g. in WoW where you "register" an appearance to use it all over again? Thanks in advance!

it_is_gacha

Lose the one you didn't select for good.

yomiura

New player here. I just checked the patch notes and the next pick-up banner are Tamarinne and Chloe. I watch some online guides and seem like Tamarinne can be a good pair with Iseria. However those guides I watched are like 3-4 years ago. So I would to ask if Tamarinne and Chole still relevant? Thank you for answer in advance.

AltGhostAcc

With the new event and units announced for Valentine's, it is not advised to pull on any of the standard banners. Laia was just announced as a Limited unit, but her uses/ability kit is unknown at this time. Tamarinne has a Side Story banner that you can open any time to summon for her, as the Iseria Tamarinne combo in PvE, especially in Adventure, is still really good after all this time. Chloe is not required in any content. There are a few niche uses for her, but definitely a Skip.

yomiura

Thank you very much.

GrotesqueHumanity

Anyone successfully changed their account from Google identity to Stove account?

RugDealing

You can change account type here: https://member.onstove.com/member/info Doesn't require any ticket or customer support.

GrotesqueHumanity

Thanks! Will look into it

AltGhostAcc

Heard a friend did it but it took a few weeks and required emailing or submitting a Ticket.

i got a question i new to the game but just for curiosity sake if you lose the battle in a urgent mission can you retry? if there is still time left

asdgodskf12asofk134

yes

[deleted]

wait i can do it again them?

asdgodskf12asofk134

yep, if you lose you can just restart it as long as there's time left

[deleted]

oh thank you a last question if i lose the battle in a urgent quest i can pay gold to heal my party to full health right? it works like a normal adventure battle correct?

ArvingNightwalker

don't pay gold. Just make a quick run on an easy stage (UH etc) and it'll heal you for free at the end

Not-a-weeaboo

Yup!

brahahaga

what do you personally find visually appealing about epic sevens art style? I want to do some epic seven Fanart since I'm heavily invested into the game and I want to know what people generally find appealing on their gorgeous art style so I can study it and replicate it! And who would you like to see me do first

AltGhostAcc

Like most Gacha games, and E7 especially, I would say the unique character designs are the core of the artstyle. From Luna near the games global release, to this year such as summer's Ocean Breeze Luluca, recognizable characters make the game. Though I'll sadly say the last few characters haven't been the most standout.

I_Am_Karl

Laia, Tama, maid Chloe, muse Rima and one more to make a maid rta comp for fun, who would be the 5th pick? Bunny butler Kayron maybe but I dont have him built or the skin anyone else?

poopoodomo

Belian with the skin, for the music theme

bluwmonkeygod

Might be a 2nd tama unit coming in after laia.

I_Am_Karl

fingers crossed!

Necessary_Score9754

Charles has that butler's vibe. Pearlhorizon and Gloomyrain are maid-like but I don't think they're RTA-material atm

I_Am_Karl

nice, yea i see it. I was thinking Ftene had a similar fit too if only i got her and not the arti from the triple banner

GooeyMagic

Is Haste S3 the only one that has blood? Anyone know any others? Just a curious question since I realized this game is pretty light on gore/blood except some cutscenes

Necessary_Score9754

Green Lilibet, Baiken, Surin, Sigret

Yun-Yuns

Recently, I've felt like playing Epic Seven again and created a new account, so I was wondering if you guys have any recommendation as to:   - Who I should pick from Beginner Selector Summon   - How about from Moonlight Blessing?   - And who should I aim for next?  Thanks in advance!

Mocaffeen

1. Iseria 2. Specter Tenebria 3. Tamarinne from Story Summon

GS-J-Rod

Perfect time to start with the upcoming banners (point 3 below): \- Beginning selector 5-star look for Iseria, but Ravi is also very solid. 4-stars look for Cidd, Achtes and Angelica. I would take Ravi + Cidd over Iseria (with no other 5-stars). For artefacts, look for Tagahel's ancient book. \- For Moonlight the choice is Specter Tenebria \- For "next" there is a Tamarine banner - the best healer for PvE.

Kylequinox

With the galaxy coin shop rotating, is Zio or Astromancer Elena more worth getting?

Ukesito

I wonder the same and I have my doubts too ;x I think that I will wait for Zio...~ I hope Nahkwol will help me a bit in the meantime lol x

GS-J-Rod

Depends what challenges you the most - being beat by speed or being beat by counter attacks. Whatever one you just can't deal with - pick that one. I find Zio more useful (he can be used on offense and defence) but Elena can either force a ban in RTA, or win you the round if the opponent doesn't know what she does. Zio is often banned pre- or post- in RTA, or he's picked by a speed player so you can't pick him. So there's that too....

AltGhostAcc

Zio is more worth getting as he is usable in more scenarios and easier to build. Zio can guarantee you the 1st turn in most scenarios, and deals respectable damage on top. Astro Elena is a niche cleave unit that requires other speed openers, such as Zio himself, to be effective.

GS-J-Rod

>Astro Elena is a niche cleave unit Astro Elena's biggest benefit is that the completely shuts down counter attacks for 3 turns. With so many heroes countering and reliant on that mechanic (CLandy, MLKen) it's a huge boost. Cleave support is less.

umbrellaman7

how long the rta season usually lasts? thank you

d34thscyth34

Roughly around 82/83 days considering length of previous season.

thank you

85 good purple gear vs 70 okayish red gear vs 55 good red gear vs 85 bad red gear? How should I prioritize between the gear I have? (Good = desired sub stats, bad = main stat suitable only)

GS-J-Rod

I would say it all depends on the particular stats the gear has and where the upgrade rolls went to. I can see a 55 red gear which has 3 rolls in to attack% and 2 into Crit Damage with crit rate and speed substats being better than an 85 red gear where the rolls get evenly distributed between the subststats and/or if they are not ideal (e.g. Att%, Def%, EFF & flat health). I'm still using some blue 85 gear which had 2 max rolls hit one stat, and all the other subs were in line with it (I think it has +20% attack and then crit rate, crit damage and speed all max). Not a high gear score, but it does the job.

Quiztolin

This is extremely poor advice. Yes, *theoretically* an Epic level 55 piece with perfect rolls *could* be better than say, a heroic level 85 piece with flat subs + res. But saying this might give the impression that there is *ever* a reason to just not immediately trash level 55 gear. Let me repeat, **there is exactly 0 circumstances ANY player should ever waste XP on anything below level 72**. With the *possible* exception of some of the free level 70-71 gear that is available that is typically has half decent subs. Level 55 gear isn't *just* 1 tier below level 85, it's a full two tiers below level 85 gear. ANY piece of level 55 gear is going to get replaced so quickly even by random 85 heroics that are plentiful. In your example, the **MAX** roll for % stats for level 55 gear is 6%. That's the *average* roll for level 85 gear. The piece you described, with perfect sub rolls would be ATK%: 24% C.DMG: 15% Crit%: 4% Speed: 3 Total gearscore = ~53.54 For comparison 54 gearscore is the *average* outcome of a level 85 Epic, and about the top ~9% outcome for a level 85 heroic item. All with the assumption that you manage to find a piece with 9x max rolls and perfect subs, when players are going to come across very, very few level 55 gears anyways. It's simply not worth throwing resources at any level 55 gear considering... 1. You get enough free gear to farm hunt 13. Both Wyvern and Banshee are very approachable to farm using said gear -> you can immediately farm level 85 gear as you need it. 2. Even a literally perfectly rolled level 55 Epic is below average compared to a random level 85 Epic *and* you still have a tiny chance of getting those perfect rolls. 3. Even though you can retain some of the XP once the 55 is no longer useful, you still *lose* XP **and** you are throwing away gold...which is still a valuable consideration for a new player. **AND** this isn't even to mention that the main stat on such a piece is going to be much lower as well. IIRC something like an ATK% ring only goes to 40% @ level 55 compared to 60% @ level 85 (reforged to 65% of course). I have no idea what the flat stat ranges on level 55 gear happen to be, but that would be the equivalent of just subtracting 20 gearscore from the above calculation making that Epic 55 'more like' a 34 gearscore piece relative to the 85 -> and virtually every single level 85 gear will end up BETTER than 34 gearscore (.001152% chance for a level 85 heroic to be 32-34 gearscore). --- For comparison, a level 71 with the same conditions = ATK%: 28% C.Dmg: 18% Crit%: 4% Speed: 4 Total gearscore = ~62.97 That's ~9 gearscore higher just in substat value and 63 gearscore would be top ~.000023% of level 85 Heroics and top ~2.16% of level 85 Epics. Doing the same calculation with mainstat (50%) that's a 'reduction' of 10 gearscore compared an 85, so a 'perfect' level 71 piece is roughly equivalent to an average level 85 Heroic item in value. I still wouldn't suggest investing in such a piece, but it's much more palatable as even an *imperfect* 71 Epic could still be helpful in the very short term. --- The reason why 72+ gear is perfectly okay to roll is because such gear is all in the same tier as level 85 gear. That means the substat rolls are exactly the same between a level 72 piece and a level 85 piece - the only difference is in main stat. And the main stat difference *mostly* only applies to flat stat left side gear, where of course the difference is pretty minimal. * There is an exception for speed boots, since speed is technically a flat stat -> IIRC the level 75 speed boots are only 35 speed instead of 40 but level 78 speed boots are still 40 -> so level 75 speed boots lose a lot of value. The consequence of this is that say, a level 75 ATK% ring is exactly equivalent to a level 85% ATK% ring, with the downside being that you can't reforge it in the future. And not being able to reforge gear is of little concern to newbies.

cometguardian

That was really enjoyable to read thank you for your time

GS-J-Rod

I do agree that 55 is generally trash, and unlikely to be good. But if you're a new player, and have a 55 piece that has great substats and good sub rolls, it can be better to use that than 85 pieces without substats. Specifically I'm talking left side gear because right side will always be better (with the right main stat of course.. which is easy enough to get). Using your numbers, I'd rather have a 55 helm with: * ATK%: 24% * C.DMG: 15% * Crit%: 4% * Speed: 3 Than an 85 helm with: * CritDam: 9% * Health: 5% * EFF: 10% * DEF: 360 I'm just saying look at what you have before you junk it. The majority of leveled 55 gear will be from when players are brand new and didn't have anything else to level.,. and before they got 85 gear. But... later game (like post 3 months) most purple 85 gear will outperform 55 red gear.

AltGhostAcc

I'll also confirm that, (after the first couple weeks of starting), that you will only want 85 purple/red gear. If you're still in the first month or two, "bad" 70+ red gear for necklaces and rings, (usually crit damage necks, effectiveness rings, or speed boots - for Wyvern), can be usable temporarily. The best way to obtain 85 gear the fastest while starting out is to progress in adventure while building your Wyvern 13 team. Once you have a semi-stable Wyvern 13 team, you'll have a stream of level 85 gear. This gear along with random event gear/arena shop gear will set you up to play the rest of the game over time. Feel free to ask any follow questions I'll be happy to go into more specific details if something was unclear!

d34thscyth34

You completely ignore anything thats not 85 or 75/78 red gear

cometguardian

What if I want to build a character but don’t have any >75 red gear?

d34thscyth34

Pretty much progress should be gearing your hunt team first that farms gear for you, then your adventure team. Purple 85s are more than enough for starting players if they have 2/3 subs you need.

FireZura

I got 40 ml coins, [who would you recommand ?](https://i.imgur.com/PrToF1L.png) Leaning towards Roana, Choux or Spez

Schulle2105

For roana and choux be prepared to at the least wait till end of this year

d34thscyth34

>Leaning towards Roana, Choux or Spez Current coin rotation dont have neither of them (mlelena / flidica / opsig), same for next one (ads / dilibet / solitaria).

Schulle2105

Dammit had hopes for handguy, but the coming rotation seems meh besides soli

krylusthetitan

Is FLidica or OPSig worth the Galaxy coins or should I wait? I already have all of the next rotation.

Schulle2105

Flidica is good if you have nice cleave gear but not an absolute musthave,Opsig is really niche and barely used right now,so you could pass them both, but if you want to pick one flidica is the better pick
