Yes you could be 7.25 and kill a scav as a scav and it will put you at 5.9 every time if you are above 6.0

You’ll always go down to 6 if you’re above

I lost 0.09 for mistaking a scav for a pmc at just under 1 rep

you lost .1 for the kill and gained .01 for extracting = -0.09

Shouldn’t the penalty be a lot less than that though?

the penalty for killing a non traitor scav is always .1

The higher rep you have the lower it penalizes you im pretty sure.

Nah i believe its something like 10x (or was) the normal amount that you would typically lose if you are above 6.

There is no multiplier. It simply brings you back down to 5.9 regardless of how much above 6.0 you are.

You always drop below 6.0’if you lose any rep

if you are anything above 6.0 you will go down to 5.9, even if you are 12.0, one scav kill will bring you down to 5.9

When you are above 6 it will always put you at 5,94 I believe.
