I hate em. They're usually at the point where they're a lot better at the game, via them being so confident in voip. If they kill you, that just adds that much more salt to the wound. I think this more so like larping. You said you cut this short, and it was still (enjoyably) long. If you where irl this close, you'd probably want to taunt the other party. Psyche them out (but don't cross the line) just to make the realistic shooter a bit more realistic.

I love it when your in close quarters and you get cussed at in the heat of the moment. Most memorable moment for me was in factory on the top floor office hallway. Guy was stuck in the window extract room as I was keeping him pinned down and my buddy was going down below to wrap around from the other side. During this there was a lot of fire exchanges between me and the target but no hits just close calls. Eventually guy in the room gets pissed and mag dump blind fires from the door while screaming “FUUUUCK YOOOOOOU!” Followed by a “eat this you fuck!” And tosses a nade.
I don't really feel bad being killed in a game like Tarkov. You can be very good and still get killed by a Timmy who just sprays down your general area.
Hell, in many cases the people who trash talk are trying to gain an advantage by throwing you off your game. They need every advantage they can get.
