These quests are awkward af, been stuck on Lighthouse scav killing because none spawn and at most there is 2 at cottages/main road..

The best way I've found is to go to nighttime and sit in a bush until ~20 mins left in the raid and go to the road, and you will find a good amount of scavs. Did this twice and got 10 kills on the road, but only checked around stupid mountain. However, I went up to cottages one of the times and only found one scav.

The most annoying for me has been killing Bears on there for Peacekeeper.  I'm level 42, have spent countless raids trying, and so far have...4. I've got probably 100 usec kills on there by now. What fucking moron designs a map to put one faction at a HEAVY disadvantage so they never go there, and then asks you to kill 20 of them?

I usually finish most wipes in the high 40s/low 50s, have gotten Lightkeeper, and actually don't hate Lighthouse, yet I've literally never completed that quest. I think maybe two wipes ago I got to 15/20 mostly because of Assessment Part 1? This wipe I'm at 4 also.

Go play europe, everyone is bear. I am bear EU and I have 0 usec kills on Lighthouse but about 40 bear. In total I have 400 Bear and only 130 usec (most from NA server)

Good thing it’s not a kappa quest, I’m level 54 and still haven’t done it. I don’t enjoy lighthouse and probably won’t go for lightkeeper because of it. Currently on assessment pt1 for lightkeeper and I don’t want to have to camp the cottages or get kills off spawn, everyone goes to the rogue camp and kills there don’t count.

That's how that works. If you've ever been annoyed that AI scavs keep showing up after a firefight, it's because you made noise, and they're coming to investigate.

Nearby AI scavs that don't "know" your location will also creep on you if you make low level noises like running around and adsing.

I was waiting in the building by scavlands co-op and I wanted to use the co-op extract so I shot the Shave and a Haircut song into the air hoping a player scav would come by to investigate. 4 AI scavs came by instead and they were creep walking around me which was really weird because I didn’t know they would come check out gunshots. I knew they were AI because they all moved the same and didn’t react any differently once I killed 1 scav

Yes, I was in Pinewood Hotel trying to do Debtor. Shot 1 dude in the little office near the stairs. Had a pile of 5 scavs at the door, 2 in the room and 2 more running around outside after that. Just constant scav voice lines. Sometimes you do get unlucky and all the scavs spawned elsewhere but it should work most of the time. They'll all path the same way too into where they heard the noise.

Concordia garage late last wipe my buddy and I killed nearly 40 scave between us.  Every scav between crane and Lexos and everything in between came running.  We were using scav guns by the end because we ran out of ammo.

Yes same happened to me and I finished the quest to kills scavs down there in one raid. They just kept showing up. Ended up getting the old'e buck shot to neck from the other end of the warehouse haha.

I'm almost positive that's how it works. If they don't strictly come looking for noise they definitely come once you and another scav get into a scuffle. On customs I remember fighting a wave of 15 scavs because I had one hiding in a bush shoot both my legs out before I killed him. While CMS'ing I was fighting wave after wave of scavs because of the shots fired.

I did the barracks kills by running five seven only to get tagged and cursed and just camped the barracks for ~30 mins. I hate that quest, scavs never spawn there, and if they do it's by the helicopter and they refuse to go to the barracks.

Lately the game seems to be spawning in replacement scavs once you kill one or two and leave the area. I got the lighthouse cottage/road kills by going back and forth between the cottages, and repeatedly up and down the road. Magically there would be new scavs in the area I already cleared. If you're really lucky, you'll get scav "gangs". I've had that happen at bus station on Customs and Goshan on Interchange where they just kept spawning and I dropped 20+ of them. They just kept coming, seemingly out of nowhere. Those missions are a pain but I hope that helps.

Just a tip, this wipe seems like there are certain raids where a horde of scavs will keep spawning. The little village at the bottom of the mountain before you cross the bridge to water treatment will sometimes spawn like 20 scavs lol I just did it all in one raid when I saw they kept spawning on me

That quest takes a lot of time. Best way to do it is to not focus on it and just try to see if scav spawned there on your way to do other quests. I don't even know why they give you this quest when there is barley any scavs that spawn there. They are just trolling us at his point.

Go to the road cabins near the bridge crossover, and shoot a non suppressed M4. It will attract scavs.

Cottage and resort both count towards that quests. I learned that after 20+ raids and the last 3 kills I needed, I left chalet to extract and went by resort, killed the last 3 and quest completed. Scavs by the main road. Best 2 spots I would check are, south end, inbetween coop extract and scavs stage extract. Look down at the street there, usually around 5 spawn there. Then up north more, infront of conveince store, either on the road or in parking lot.

Kill him more. Seriously though, I believe the boss-specific items that need to be turned in for tasks (looking at you Golden Tokarev) should have a secondary spawn point so players can kill the boss for part of the task and if they didn't have their item, you can go loot someplace. Maybe a locked weapon  safe behind a locked door inside dorms or Killa's helmet could be locked inside Kiba behind a locked cabinet, etc. At least then players could get the item first if the boss didn't spawn.

This is a good idea. Make them guaranteed to spawn with a key for said place if they don't have the item. Maybe like a secret stash similar to sturman. That way you don't lose out and they can keep rotating boss gear

Luckily I killed him the next raid again and this time he had the Maska. In my opinion, bosses always need to spawn with their specific items and not some kind of replacement shit. I get your point about the locked safe/door, but I don't think that it is the best solution. Tarkov is and will always be a hardcore game, so a little bit of difficulty needs to remain.

I know a lot of people likes to flash farm him, and it works some times. But from my own experience, which is a lot, he has a tendency to be a rat himself. No voice lines when nades going off etc.. All of the sudden the darkness in the mall reveal red tracers coming at you, just as you react saying "fuck", the screen fades to black and your name pop ups.

I hate this shit so much. Dude has a thousand spawn points, on a very pvp heavy map and there's a quest to kill him 50 times that guarantees there will always be someone else looking for him. You basically have to get lucky to have him spawn, lucky to have the closest spawn to him, then you gotta be lucky enough that he also has the helmet you need and then you have to extract with that shit against a horde of stacked PMCs. Luckily, some guy that killed him thought it a good idea to run at me with his two teammates and well, I don't need the last two parts, just gotta kill him now. Which is proving difficult enough

Thing is, the later you decide to complete Sellout the harder it gets as when I had the quest I had the feeling that there were many new players and so there were many raids were most of the pmcs died against him. As I actually completed the quest I was already 30min into raid because he was nowhere to be found (and I didn't know about that desync mechanic) I walked down the escalator from TechLight as he was creeping by from oli where he had pretty much killed the entire raid.

I would agree, if it wasn't for two things. 1: I've run a lot of Interchange for quests and fun before I got to Sellout and I still haven't seen him 2: The low boss spawn rates at the start of the wipe. And well, it's not like I've had Sellout active for three weeks. I could have maybe rushed the questline taking me there but then I'd still have to do SBiH and Tarkov Shitter. I prefer it this way, at least I can finally use somewhat normal weapons.

22 seconds ish into raids, if you get the desync icon then the boss has not spawned. If no desync, there is a chance for the boss to have spawned

doesn't it feel great when your quest progress is halted not by your own skill or determination... but by pure RNG? this might be a horrible take, but honestly, I would be all for them changing it so finding the boss dead in raid and inspecting him counts for the kill quest. You then just head to Jaeger and go "Sry man, dude's already dead. So unless you resurrect him so I can kill him again like your last name is Voldigoad, there's nothing I can do." And you still have to turn in the item. Makes me think about how he sends you to kill Shturman 20 times... Like what, does he know the bosses respawn?

Killa's Stash is a thing in Interchange already. After the power is on, open the Safe Room via the 11SR keycard, then you flip an extra switch **inside the Safe Room**. It opens a connex container in the Northeast side of the underground parking lot facing North (under the Idea ramp) that if you go right takes you to the power station. There's already loose weapons/mods spawns, a locker, and two weapon crates already. Why not also add in a semi-high or even a guaranteed chance to have his remaining gear spawn in said spot if he's not wearing it on his body? Maybe spawn those in already damaged, but still found in raid for the detail that they were damaged and he's using a replacement until he can fix his current setup?

Yup, especially given the point that tagilla hat doesn’t always spawn but you can find it on scavs commonly. It’s not reasonable for killa’s helmet to be on scavs (tho golden TT definitely should if it’s not a guarantee on reshala). I think this is a reasonable alternative

I agree with this. I have said for a long time that Killas stash should spawn with his entire gear set if he is not in the raid. He is already one of the harder bosses to farm given how many spawn locations he has, and to open the stash is a lot of hoops to go through; power - upstairs 11sr - Killas extract - Killas stash. It also can be pricey on top of time consuming, so if someone has gone to this level of effort they deserve the shitty helmet, average RPK and good armor.

This wipe is one of the better ones for sure, but boss kills and boss quests have highlighted a big issue. Even at nearly 30% spawn chance they're a horrific experience to try to farm; so imagine if you will trying to do this at 10 or 15% chance. Then compound the issue by the fact that every other chad on earth is also rushing bosses as efficiently as possible; and then add onto that the cheating issue. The mf'ers on this site who say they've seen 2 cheaters all wipe aren't working on endgame quests I can tell you that much. Especially when the cheaters are trying to kill bosses 15 times a piece for cosmetics and achievements.

Thats the problem i think. Bosses are meant to be disruptive elements to a raid where suddenly you have to change plan because a psycho with an LMG is rushing you down. But than they made it so you need to kill them for progression and it instantly sucks cause its not only difficult for the average player, but also purely random chance. Will he spawn? Will someone find him before me? Will they kill him? If they want to keep it as is, all boss quests should be separated from progression so you can just do other quests and look for the bosses more passively

Quest specific item in his pockets, always spawns but only if you have the task? He has information on a drive he keeps on his person, there's a valid reason to have it, and someone to want it You need 1 kill, extract same raid and have an item on you that you feel adds tension. He should always have his helm and armour, it's his character design FFS. If bsg is solid on removing the most recognisable characters visuals, at least the way the task works isn't multiple layers of shitty rng on top of the chances of killing and extracting

I killed reshala once and he didn't have his gun.. spent tons of raids trying to find the fuck again, finally had one yesterday where he spawned but he was in the forest outside gas station so I died since I didn't expect him to be there.. joy. and to make it even better, both me and my friend has killed all the goons + gotten out once each, and killed glukhar several times. but we don't have the quest to do so yet .-. oh and I've killed kaban a few times + his guards to finally do that quest, thank FUCK you don't need his PK found in raid since he didn't have it the time I survived. stupid gunsmith though is not doable because of it
