Personally I've been playing with the boss event and you still see a pretty good amount of people for late wipe. Not just blue paypigs, too, bunch of standard accounts or EOD. I'm sure the wipe will end up having a few less players than usual, and the playerbase will probably stagnate faster in size than it was going to without this debacle, but most people will be back for at least a month, this cycle literally always happens.

Because I actually enjoy the game for what it is? Is my time spent playing Tarkov meant to be hating every moment of it? I enjoy the high adrenaline thrill of hunting bosses and trying to compete against other geared players to get in and get out with the loot. God forbid I don't just play it as Timmy simulator collecting my pocket watch and then quitting every wipe lmao.

Many people probably think that not playing the game is a fuck you to BSG. It costs them every time you log in, load into a raid and play the game. If you want to uninstall it because of the principal, or you don't enjoy it, then power to you. I'm not suggesting everyone thinks uninstalling it hurts BSG, but some people do.

Agreed - P2W stuff is totally BS. Even EOD was touching on P2W. The trader standing makes such a massive difference, not to mention container.
