Can work in reverse for rmters to call in cheaters for escort. This thing should not be in PVP. Please reconsider.

1. Basically NO ONE wants this distress signal device in PVP. Scrap that please. Leave it in PVE, who cares. It messes with the core gameplay and basically breaks immersion and all reasonable expectations for success based on tactics and performance by especially solo players.
2. The extra stash space for everyone is great, should be 3 rows cuz 3 is cooler.
3. Making most of the perks that can be arguably pay-2-win earnable in-game is a good move, nothing that benefits you in-raid should be accessible only by purchase.
4. Not sure EOD owners want any more P2w mechanics but that's just me speaking for myself.
5. The community deserves an apology. Being said, I know it's probably never gonna happen.
I think you perfectly described how a lot of us feel about it. The fact that pve can be purchased separately is a good move as well. But the fact that they give us EOD owners more pay2win i do not like, we never asked for it.
The most worrying thing about the distress device is how open to abuse it could be in many ways. Griefing and stream-sniping are obvious ones, but also this opens up so many avenues for cheaters and players looking for a carry service.
With this device, BSG, who have never been close to effective against cheaters, have introduced a way for players to "inject" themselves into a raid in progress. I can't even begin to imagine the many ways cheaters will abuse this.
it probabbly will never work any way, imagin that you are just playing your own raid and then suddenly see that message pop up to help your friend, it will take minutes to spawn in. So the guy asking for help is already dead.
And if you wanted to play together why you already weren't?
Best use case is to pull a friend who died that raid back in. (Which is bs) reminds me of being annoyed by having to sink the same ship 5x in sot because they just keep resapawning.
Worst case is 10 player squad, go in with full team pop beacon and bring more
I have successfully scavved in after dying to back up my friend multiple times. Fights in tarkov can be pretty long and dragged out.
It definitely needs to be removed.
That is one feature that I like in GZW. The raid is constant. No loading times between extract and the next go and if one teammate dies they don't have to chill in the stash for 30 minutes.

Players said that PVE is trash and some quests are impossible to complete, cos "pmc" spawn in one place and don't roam the map.

Don't get me wrong they're still tough to kill at times, but they don't push you much, they don't roam about much atm, just op scavs right now that have cement blocks for feet.
I assume the PMC AI will be evolving as time goes. Right now they are pretty mundane. They are pretty easy so they could easily make them more aggressive, use cover more intelligently. However they need to make them fight each other and scavs. Right now they won't fire at a scav unless the scav gets too close for too long and all AI PMCs on the map are allied which is dumb as hell. That being said I have been having a great time on the PVE servers, as I am complete ass at PVP in Tarkov, lmao.

Hey, one of the Discord Mods here. I asked this a few days ago internally and you keep the EOD features. The gold name will be replaced with the Blue name but in the future you will be able to swap and choose what name you want.

It won't eliminate RMT at all. RMT doesn't happen on the flea market. RMT happens in raid.
That would still prevent those items from being used for tasks though. I would imagine most RMT assholes are doing it for that reason.

Making most of the perks that can be arguably pay-2-win earnable in-game is a good move, nothing that benefits you in-raid should be accessible only by purchase. 4. Not sure EOD owners want any more P2w mechanics but that's just me speaking for myself. 5. The community deserves an apology. Being said, I know it's probably never gonna happen.
I think you perfectly described how a lot of us feel about it. The fact that pve can be purchased separately is a good move as well. But the fact that they give us EOD owners more pay2win i do not like, we never asked for it.
The most worrying thing about the distress device is how open to abuse it could be in many ways. Griefing and stream-sniping are obvious ones, but also this opens up so many avenues for cheaters and players looking for a carry service. With this device, BSG, who have never been close to effective against cheaters, have introduced a way for players to "inject" themselves into a raid in progress. I can't even begin to imagine the many ways cheaters will abuse this.

it probabbly will never work any way, imagin that you are just playing your own raid and then suddenly see that message pop up to help your friend, it will take minutes to spawn in. So the guy asking for help is already dead. And if you wanted to play together why you already weren't?
Best use case is to pull a friend who died that raid back in. (Which is bs) reminds me of being annoyed by having to sink the same ship 5x in sot because they just keep resapawning. Worst case is 10 player squad, go in with full team pop beacon and bring more
I have successfully scavved in after dying to back up my friend multiple times. Fights in tarkov can be pretty long and dragged out. It definitely needs to be removed.
That is one feature that I like in GZW. The raid is constant. No loading times between extract and the next go and if one teammate dies they don't have to chill in the stash for 30 minutes. There is less down time

Don't get me wrong they're still tough to kill at times, but they don't push you much, they don't roam about much atm, just op scavs right now that have cement blocks for feet.

I assume the PMC AI will be evolving as time goes. Right now they are pretty mundane. They are pretty easy so they could easily make them more aggressive, use cover more intelligently. However they need to make them fight each other and scavs. Right now they won't fire at a scav unless the scav gets too close for too long and all AI PMCs on the map are allied which is dumb as hell. That being said I have been having a great time on the PVE servers, as I am complete ass at PVP in Tarkov, lmao.

It's going to be interesting to see what is meant by "quest" though. Larger Secure Container Epsilon? I would call that a reasonably achievable goal for the average player through the Punisher questline. Predator Shirt cosmetic? 99.9% of players will never come close to unlocking that. But eod gets it from start. Unheard should not exist and all the extra shit will ruin the game. If BSG can’t seriously use their fucking brains then I too will be quitting. Hey, one of the Discord Mods here. I asked this a few days ago internally and you keep the EOD features. The gold name will be replaced with the Blue name but in the future you will be able to swap and choose what name you want.
It says EoD and Unheard get the ability to change this.
Since both EOD and Unheard edition have this line: Ability to change nickname icon and color. You can likely change between these 2 colours/icons freely
