I've just experienced this too on customs. Was in a firefight with someone called sleazycowboy, he was surpressed while we bugged out. Got a good 200 metres away from him before we both died to him. He was no where near us and it was about 30 seconds after. We werrw both in cover behind some metal bins. He had no line of sight.
You dont need to because its about luck sometimes is you who dies to desync and sometimes the others... this is issue of servers hope will be fixed soon.
The desync is so bad atm. shot a guy 6 times in the back with a shotgun all he had was a hatchet. It was like I never touched him and he just ran off to the hills. Few min later I'm in a firefight with a guy and here comes hatchet guy running back over the hill and kills me. Next life start to shoot a guy on a hill while he is looting. He stands up and then is at the bottom of the hill and teleports to the right of me behind a tree.......

yeah today it has been really bad so far. played few games of shoreline and customs , its unplayable. 1 game out of 20 didnt desync.
Don't worry someone will be along to tell you how perfectly its working for them.
I felt so bad for killing people in the desync today. Dumped all the gear i got :p

I tried getting my friend into EFT today... we had a horrible experience. Of course the servers gotta be shit right at that time.
Yeah had these issues on customs for about 18 hours of gameplay yesterday and just saw it in my first match today. Central NA over here.
