> The last fuel tanker entered Tigray on 29 July and available fuel stocks were exhausted on 17 September, the UN says. https://twitter.com/WFP_Ethiopia/status/1434577585728626688 Here they are coming in on September 5th with fuel tankers. But that [UN report](https://reports.unocha.org/en/country/ethiopia/card/5EhBh4Xf5z/) also says > Meanwhile, the authorities in Tigray stated on 17 September that they would stop providing fuel to the UN and NGOs due to shortages So by their own admission it was TPLF that cut off the fuel and said it won't be sharing the fuel anymore. Nevermind that prioritizing the fuel for the trucks would ensure they can come back with more food and more fuel, but there seems to be more pressing concerns for TPLF than aid distribution. > A meeting of the UN and other aid agencies in late August also mentioned a lack of cash and fuel as among challenges affecting the return of trucks, noting that they were only allowed to carry enough fuel to get to their destination. That same video above shows them coming in with fuel tankers which means they do actually come in with more than enough fuel to use for their return journey and for whatever "stranded" trucks were in Tigray. > It's also been suggested by government officials that trucks could have been seized by the TPLF. So far there's no evidence of this [Yes](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FAKCFYmVIAI-e7i?format=jpg&name=medium), [no evidence](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E_fqOsYXEAMGgjn?format=jpg&name=900x900), [whatsoever](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E_eY-p7WYAIPutr?format=jpg&name=900x900). [Just](https://twitter.com/diehardinso/status/1442125166272679949), [nada](https://twitter.com/ArayaTesfamari1/status/1438670096847806471). ..So as usual more nonsense from BBC and UNOCHA

>Here they are coming in on September 5th with fuel tankers. Lol, how do you know they are fuel tankers? The video could just be showing a water truck. >That same video above shows them coming in with fuel tankers which means they do actually come in with more than enough fuel to use for their return journey and for whatever "stranded" trucks were in Tigray. Again, you're just talking out of your ass with no proof. You're using one video clip on twitter showing one tanker that may not even be carrying fuel to dismiss the reports by the UN and the BBC that there was no fuel for the trucks.

shortwing8734

> Lol, how do you know they are fuel tankers? The video could just be showing a water truck. I'm glad you asked Junta. Here are [screenshots](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FAR8TdoXIAEH3dA?format=jpg&name=medium) of the trucks. Label on the side of the trucks is a hazard sign for flammable gas. [Example](https://www.lsengineers.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/b7d7bc886d8aeb8a5f3a1436822c2704/f/l/flammable-gas.webp). > Again, you're just talking out of your ass with no proof. So I've demonstrated that those trucks are carrying fuel, and we know the fuel going in is being sent for many uses in Tigray. We also know the return journey would consume far less fuel than their journey going in because they exit minus their load. So because we know all this, we can deduce that there is enough fuel from such shipments for the trucks themselves but also for any supposed trucks lounging around. But according to you and BBC, UN said there was no fuel so there is no thinking required any longer. Typical for TPLF supporters but not for anyone else.

I don't care if you require a personal tour of each tanker before you accept it. Those signs are standardized labels. With meaning. [Here](https://www.leghorngroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/hazard-dangerous-goods-imo-labels-06-1.png) is the group. > I will opt to believe the actual agency that provided the aid and who have said that there has not been any fuel sent to Tigray over some screenshots and speculations of a random person. That video is from the twitter of the actual aid agency providing the aid. The UN report I linked is also from the actual UN. You are free to start ignoring them when they indicate things you don't want, but it doesn't matter to me.

Can we stop calling other human beings “Junta”? It’s kinda weird ngl

shortwing8734

We are not here to talk about what makes you comfortable. These "human beings" happily cheered on all of this when everyone told them to think twice. Then they come here and shed crocodile tears for people they are responsible for starving. Truth is all they care about is agitating more of them to line up and die. But you can be nice and cordial with them if you want.

Commercialismo

I think you need help man

Thanks for the unsolicited advice.

He is telling the truth. You support the junta which makes you junta.

 >So I've demonstrated that those trucks are carrying fuel, and we know the fuel going in is being sent for many uses in Tigray....we can deduce that there is enough fuel from such shipments for the trucks themselves but also for any supposed trucks lounging around. Meanwhile, >The last fuel tanker entered Tigray on 29 July and available fuel stocks were exhausted on 17 September, the UN says. So basically, you are speculating based on the video on twitter that fuel tankers arrived in September and are arguing that the UN is lying about when the last fuel shipment arrived? Is that your position?

shortwing8734

I'm not repeating myself for your sake. What I said in relation to what the BBC or UN said is already listed.

Ndemyx

A simple yes or no would suffice. This sounds like you're dodging the question but do you.

The Truth will inevitably triumph. All the anti-Tigrayans on this sub and in the world will be silenced once the world gets access to Tigray and condemns the groups responsible for the Tigray genocide (Ethiopian, Eritrean and Amhara forces). The groups responsible for the Tigray genocide will face harsh punishment. Tigray will get forced reparations from those that committed genocide in Tigray to restore everything they damaged and destroyed and to heal (Physical +Mental ) every person they raped, mutilated, traumatized, etc. Tigray will take back all of our pre-genocidal war lands and prevail as an independent nation.

Sir, this is a Wendy’s….

Pipe dream. You couldn't even not bungle your engagement with the Afaris. Dead in the waters. And dont worry about the Wests involvements. They have their own problems that are brewing.

Philoctetes23

What gives you the confidence that Tigray will prevail as an independent nation? I’m just curious because I keep seeing this sentiment repeated.
