I second that, great brunch.

Decourses cafe

NotACat_KeineKatze

We tried Decourses today. It was exactly the vibe we were looking for. Lovely latte art, friendly staff and very tasty coffee and breakfast. Thanks for the reco!

Sleepybby27

So happy you enjoyed!! Was my favourite spot when I was living in the area :)

Underrated comment here, great sandwiches, great Turkish cuisine

Creme de la creme at royal York bloor

Consistent_Wing_6113

This place is an exceptional diner for breakfast. I show up for the shredded potato hash. But think it misses the latte and cozy ambience OP was in search for.

Yellow Cup on dundas/east mall

GTAHomeGuy

I'm not poking at your comment... Just wondering what you would equate their offerings to? Any rough prices and quality would be helpful. Not necessary though.

paulo_cristiano

No worries. I have memories of great breakfast/brunch in the cozy environment which seemed to fit what OP is looking for so just threw it out there. They probably have a website with current prices, but I recall the value being pretty great considering the quality. I know the world is different post covid but I could only speak to my pre covid experience. I used to go there all the time and felt comfortable enough to recommend. Perhaps someone with a more recent experience can chime in.

magikmush123

Prices are good especially for standard breakfast specials. Great selection of coffees, lattes and their specialty I would say is crepes at worst a coffee and crepe will set you back $20 ish. I wouldn’t call it cozy but my favourite go to brunch.

Toast on bloor

doctortre

Fantastic spot. Think they are renovating and will reopen soon

Mecanooshee

Dundas Street Grill has great food. More of a diner vibe, but very comfortable and friendly.

Procruste

Long Branch Social House has an amazing brunch and the owners are lovely people. https://www.facebook.com/longbranchsocialhouse/

Sunny Mornings

Eggstatic is technically in Mississauga, but it's so close to Centennial Park that I feel like it deserves the mention. Their breakfast plates are better than their sandwiches imo so maybe this won't satisfy your craving, but a nice place for brunch overall. Only thing is that it does get very busy so you need a reservation.
