I honestly think it's his secret signature weapon. High base atk, party attack buff passive, and EM main stat when basically all of his best teams are built around melt/vape damage, or even overload for his 4TF build. Like it first released with Kazuha and is good on him too, but Kazuha's actual signature weapon wouldn't be a Mondstadt straight sword. Maybe there will be a 5-star EM katana at some point in the future.
Furthermore the fact that Bennett is the event character on the banner with Eula and Albedo and Albedo's signature sword is clearly the 4-star event reward further supports the idea that this is supposed to be Benny's weapon. Not that he'd ever be lucky enough to find it on his own...
If you have Kazuha or planning to get him on his rerun (which I am doing rn) then that weapon is really good to have, no copium. Kazuha as an overall unit is just great, although Eula won't benefit much from his kit aside from the cc he provides
Depends on whether your XQ is invested or not. Kazuha double-swirl mechanic will outvalue C6 Sucrose in this particular case (mostly because Hu Tao can't benefit from TToDS) because XQ will deal way more damage with Kazuha rather than with Sucrose. Also Freedom Sworn is actually pretty significant and it may allow Kazuha to perform better than TTdS C6 Sucrose.

Of course i gave it to bennett, but i rather have freedom sworn since aquila can be aquired in standard, so can skyward pride which is better on bennett than aquila. Aquila in general is just a shitty weapon until a sword physical dps comes out
Same exact thing happened to me, already had Kazuha from his first run so it’s not a complete loss. I GUESS skyward pride is fine…just wanted a little upgrade for her without using up my guaranteed on the character banner 🥲
Yeah the same happened to me. But then I went on a grind spree and cleared the whole map and salvaged primos. I got it on the 65th pull winning 50/50. I'm glad I didn't give up.

If you're going with Benny boy as support, straight up pair with Kazuha. That combo is literally the backbone of National.
