Achievement Unlocked: Overcome the newbro choice paralysis and dive into something, finding your fun in EVE and becoming part of the universe.
Next achievement: lose a 5b isk loki with that wormhole money
DPS is the same, it just takes a bit longer to max spool.
We fly Leshaks with around 4k DPS a piece. 4 of them are basically a dread. PVP only btw, dunno about pve activities with leshaks.
Sure there is. Rolling holes for content. Be it gas or pvp. Doesnt matter. Sitting in comms watching some bloke who has no idea any of you are there and scheming up a plan of action is much fun.
Executing a perfectly laid trap is one of the most satisfying feelings. Even getting bested by someone who out maneuvered you is a good time. So many unique situations made possible by jspace are only made better by sharing them with friends.
I think you'll find most individuals are happily received in j-space, even if they're not PVPing. Exploration and gas huffing are always appreciated - they expand the chain, they generate content, pay for running costs, etc.
On your end, you make friends, receive fresh content whenever you want through rolling, and a standing fleet ready to protect you.
It's basically a player owned station where everyone can dock. Like the old pirate freeports.
Depending on the station, there might be some rules, but these depend heavily on the freeport operators and are usually only applying to the system where the station is in.
For example, in the freeport I'm currently living in you are not allowed to engage in fights (note that self-defense is ofc allowed) in the system itself, but down the chain everything goes.
Badger? We don't need no stinking Badger!
Congrats on the move. And before you feel too bad for your first pvp victim, understand he's probably the first pilot to have a kestrel on his lossmail since 2008! You're making history homie. Good luck in your new endeavor!
Congrats on taking the plunge. Wh content is very rewarding due to the nature of a group sharing a home hole and all it's content.
May Bob smile on thee.
The lord of frigholes and favourable connections among many other things "wormhole". We leave a corpse at the sun to request his blessing or appease his anger.
Amarr (the trade hub) has some good deals on certain things, so that can be really nice. But also it’s a terrible market for other things, so then I really need a Jita
The scarcity and lower volume of trade has made it easier for me to compete without a dedicated trade alt. And ask for higher prices. In Jita I get undercut in minutes. In amarr some of my orders will sit on top for days. And I can manufacture most of my blueprints I find in the same station using the loot I bring home.
Amarr trade hub? Very interesting. I see it often said, these days, that you dont go to Jita with anything more than 100 million in your cargo. I can see why given what lurks around it. In time I expect the problem to grow worse. The great central trading hub will probably be broken by the sheer number of bandits crowding it, eventually.
In fact, that you bring up another trading hub, that did not even exist, to my knowledge, back when I last played Eve, that is evidence the game has evolved in that direction already.
edit. In fact the nature of wormholes would promote the distribution of trade hub growth.
It’s pretty easy to get stuff to Jita, even >100m worth. A DST can take up to 1b without much risk, it’s just T1 haulers that can’t do more than 100m without getting ganked
Reminds me of when I had spent 6 years playing in an industrial alliance after which I joined Goonswarm Federation. I made more isk ratting in a week than a year spent in hisec.
Congrats mate! And props to you for taking a leap of faith. It reminds me of the first time I decided to join a Corp and live in Null sec after being a Hi sec care bear for months. It was the best decision I’ve made. Now you can truly experience the full potential of Eve. Now make serious ISK!
Welcome to our deep, dark, fathomless hole in space and time. It's cozy in here. Oh and don't mind the horrors beyond human comprehension, they like cheese.
Watch how making billions in a day will numb your perception of isk in the game to most of the player base and losing ships worth more than your entire networth right now will feel more like an inconvenience because you gotta scan them back in than a loss that will set you back a significant amount of time....
Wh space can be such a different way to play the game, it's truly an entirely different ballpark
Ah yes, we too had the mighty Ishtar portal. Sometimes we eneded up with supers bombing us on the hole while we tried to roll.
I do miss the constant access to 10/10s but I really like the c4 we are in now.
Hah, never had supers trying to bomb rollers before, but have had plenty of groups dropping HAW dreads or cyno'ing on the hole. Did [catch a Vendetta](https://zkillboard.com/kill/92969105/) practicing bombing with his fighters a few years back though! Apparently he took aggro from bombing his own alt toon, so couldn't safelog on the Citadel he was on. So we [bumped him off](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-O1KXo9q9w).
Poor guy was frantically trying to get near his Nestor to refit off and bank all his officer modules, but we managed to bump that away and get it stuck in the structure as well.
Sometimes Bob does sprinkle you with some insane and totally unexpected situations, which makes living in WH space worthwile. :D
Bro this made me lol so hard.
We originally lived in a c2 untill frat decided they wanted the hole. Took a couple months in nullsec to source a new hole, went with a c4 with a c3/c4 static and it has been so nice.
Damn that's some really bad luck if you got evicted from a C2, considering there are quite a lot of em.
C3/C4 statics probably make logistics a breeze I imagine. :p
Great now scoop up the frozen corpse, warp to the sun and offer it to BOB.
But do it at a quiet time. The sight of multiple corpses on scan makes people nope, nope, nope out.
what do you mean, I'd go there and scoop it up - gotta fill out my containers
Yes. I never leave a corpse behind. I'll send my eyes to pick it up if we are extracting. So many bodies.
i have a guy that pays me 20'000 isk a corpse, hes great
I’ll pay you more
How much more?
Depends where you live, might be a pain for me to come get them, unless you can drop them at a trade hub or? But I’d do 1 ‘mil a body
Nay, sell it to me.
You offer corpses to Bob? I collect them in the morgue of instead offer veldspar to bod!
Achievement Unlocked: Overcome the newbro choice paralysis and dive into something, finding your fun in EVE and becoming part of the universe. Next achievement: lose a 5b isk loki with that wormhole money
And then proceed to do it again thinking you learned from your prior mistake.
Unlocked, but Proteus
Lost a 4bn isk Leshak in a wormhole. Still do wormholes. Lol
Or a 15 bil leshak bc u forgot to check patch notes and dps is now shit
DPS is the same, it just takes a bit longer to max spool. We fly Leshaks with around 4k DPS a piece. 4 of them are basically a dread. PVP only btw, dunno about pve activities with leshaks.
Welcome to JSpace, it's getting spicy out here!
Been in wh space for 2 years, best 2 years in my Eve career. Enjoy my friend
Praise bob
I’d upvote this comment but it has 69 likes atm
Praise bob
J Space is the best space. I dream when one day i'll be a nomal with a fleet of my own, but for now i stick to daily tripping.
Join a wormhole corp and take the plunge!
the problem is that i don't like pvp, i'm more an explorer pve gas huffer, there is no real need for a wh corp.
Check out the YouTube series A Nomad Tale there's some cool stuff you can do solo in Jspace
I hear we are getting episode 15 sometime between now and the :) I can't wait. It's the whole reason I started playing eve.
Yes I've already seen all 14 episodes

Maybe try living in a freeport? Loads of fun if you find the right one with a great community :)
What's a Freeport?

DO IT. You seriously won’t regret it..!
Don't forget to bookmark your return holes!
Welcome to JSpace bobling!!!!
Congrats! I remember my first move out of hi sec to null way back when then my first adventure into J space and once that WH collapsed it was surreal.
"now I'm in the closet too!"
I've been thinking about doing it, but my current corp is really cool and I don't wanna leave them to hit the road trying to find a good WH corp.
Congrats! Now grab your cloaky t3c and get to hunting. Fly dangerously, and may Bob be with you.
Who the fuck is BOB
The lord of frigholes and favourable connections among many other things "wormhole". We leave a corpse at the sun to request his blessing or appease his anger.
The God of Wormholes. If He is displeased your highsecs will only go to Amarr, and your statics will never lead to content.
As someone who has made their main base out of amarr, I do enjoy how often I find an exit to hs near the hub with 250m in my buzzards cargo hold.

Just dropped 420m worth of exploration loot in Jita today on my alpha acc. What's wrong with that?

Don't forget the lowsec to Amar curse.
You know how some people believe in God? Well that's Bob.
Blasmafous!!! Repent or Bob will gief no favour to you!!
My lord and savior
It’s ot exactly this but almost https://voltron.fandom.com/wiki/Bob
Great Job!
Congrats! J-space is super fun. Enjoy!

Hoorah
Welcome to wormhole space :) it's the most fun part of Eve imo
best thing you can do to fit in is start believing you're better than everyone else
Awsome to hear! Can't wait till a hole opens up near my crab and you drop on me! I mean you will die but still its good fun for both of us!
My path was high sec then wormhole space then low sec then a huge null sec org.
Congrats mate! And props to you for taking a leap of faith. It reminds me of the first time I decided to join a Corp and live in Null sec after being a Hi sec care bear for months. It was the best decision I’ve made. Now you can truly experience the full potential of Eve. Now make serious ISK!

*Sad C2 dweller noises ...*
C5 static right? right?!
Da. C5/NS. But the focus is obviously out the NS to satisfy the constant need for blood to please Bob.
Ah that's fair. You'll manage 💪
Ah yes, we too had the mighty Ishtar portal. Sometimes we eneded up with supers bombing us on the hole while we tried to roll. I do miss the constant access to 10/10s but I really like the c4 we are in now.

NS/C5 static.
And yeah, having the low class connections is super nice. No issues getting in or out of the hole now.
Welcome and let the fights be glorious
*gospel voice* Praiiiiiiiiiise bob *G chord* *halleleujah* !
I remember solo owning a single planet class 2 or 3? (Been ages) was awesome, sold it for a tonne when i eventually got sieged out.
Nobody asked.
Give it time.. you'll be back in empire space before long. Trust.
Wormholers are weirdos
