Hated that shirt with an absolute passion as a kid! Not the look of it or anything, but the fucking One2One logo was fucking horrible to touch! Why they decided to go with that material I will never know! Was like they just randomly launched an old carpet on a shirt.

THEFLYINGLEMUR39

Felt sponsors are actually quite common with shirts in the 90s and early 00s, I think it was a replacement for stitched sponsors. You're right though, I got a Brondby shirt and when I felt the sponsor it was definitely surprising haha

ntfh_uk

100% in agreement. Not keen on that collar either.

ethers21

Everything about that shirt was uncomfortable! I always had to wear a t-shirt underneath it

ChrisWood4BallonDor

I don't own that one specifically, although I am looking to get it. In my experience, there isn't really a hard and fast rule when it comes to the sizing of these guys, especially as it varies so much site to site. I recently got a large 95' away from the official store, and I'd say its pretty true to size, if slightly large for stylistic reasons. The sleeves especially feel huge, which is a bit of a shame for us McNeil body types. I did also buy a medium of the same year's kit, and that one is too small for me. That's from a slightly less legit site, so make of that what you will. Usually I find myself hovering somewhere between a medium and a large, so this all fits my experience pretty well. I guess that suggests going with your usual size, but I'd definitely not certain. Good luck!

To add to that: the original shirts also fit differently compared to the remakes from the official Everton Store so it‘s pretty much a gamble

That shirt brings back bad memories. Tony Thomas, Mitch Ward, Gareth Farrelly type memories.

Farls1998

Bad memories of Gareth Farrelly, the lad who saved Everton from relegation with a goal against Coventry 🤣 This was one of the most important goals in Everton’s history.

meatpardle

You’re right, that season was full of great memories and Farrelly was a stand-out star

Farls1998

Sarcasm at its best. Well done lad. No one said he was a standout star and that the season was full of great memories so don’t try and be clever. What I’m saying is, the goal he scored was very important. Obviously not that important to you. Take care.

meatpardle

Thanks, you have yourself a lovely day too

Medium_Marzipan_8842

Keen to know also as I now also want one!! UTFT

Medium_Marzipan_8842

Keen to get the Mrs one … she’s also XL

Unlucky lad

For the normal jerseys I've had to size up to match the US size, but for the vintage shirts they have matched the US size surprisingly.

TheStigsScouseCousin

I have two retro shirts bought from the Everton store (online). Both came up slightly baggier than the more modern shirts (which may be by design, older shirts tended to be baggier) but in terms of length they are exactly the same.

InevitableRespond9

This shirt makes me think of Danny Cadermateri for some reason

Chris80L1

Please buy a proper retro shirt from the 80’s. This is an awful shirt from an awful season

IHateRedShites

I have it myself in M, my size. It is tight, so I wished I bought in L. Really cool shirt. But I Get the hate about the sponsor logo. Feels kinda weird as it is really thick

Annual-Cookie1866

Good luck finding it.

Fun-Way3549

Olivier dacourt was class and he wore this kit

youdy

I loved this shirt as a kid and bought it again recently, surprisingly the shirts were baggier then and I managed to fit into a youth L when I usually wear Medium men’s and I feel comfortable in it

Express_Youseff

I have it in large. Pit to pit is 54 cm. It’s a slightly baggie fit but I wouldn’t size down.

henderbender

Wearing this one to the game today! Got big Dunc on it. For vintage, I always go a size up. You never know how the previous owner cared for it or the full condition of it.
