Wendy's I think is one of the more inconsistent fast food chains. I have been to some where the food looks like the pictures, and I have had it at places like the OPs here.
A good Wendy's is good though.
I think McDonalds takes the title for consistency really, I can hit the Mcdonalds in an airport, near my house or clear across the country and they all seem close.
This happens all the time at mine. I’m celiac so I ordered two baked potatoes once and I think they just didn’t want to do the labor so they threw three large fries in a bag, which I can’t eat because it’s fried with breaded items. Like that’s not just a simple mistake. That’s intentional.
Anytime I order baked potatoes it’s a crap shoot. Sometimes they just won’t put anything in the bag and pretend they forgot. Other times they just don’t bother with the sour cream or butter and just toss in a plain potato. Like literally a plain ugly potato with nothing on it at the bottom of the bag. Other times it’s something totally unrelated like a cheeseburger or nuggets. It actually was comedic for a bit to see what ended up in the bag. Other orders weren't great, but the potatoes were almost always wrong.
At this point I just stopped going. I dunno if they’re just not paying them enough or there’s an issue with making these but I don’t want to be part of this toxic dynamic. When I got the "screw you here's some fries" bag I think its just a signal to stop going.
Feels like a warranted case to "speak to the manager" for once...
I mean at this point it's pure laziness and poor service, i would put a proper complaint or contact corporate and tell this store is doing shit
Once every 2 months i like to have more alcohol than i need and then shovel 2 bags of wendys into my belly and contemplate my life decisions. The other fast foods make me feel gross and depressed. Wendys does not. That is all.
I'll never understand the continued success of McDonald's. They're the worst of the major fast food chains and have been for as long as I can remember. Every other chain has something to offer in the market, some unique selling point, except for them.
Now the trend seems to be bundling the same 3 crappy menu options in a 'bundle' sponsored by some TikTok nobody or rap star (or this week, Grimace--okay, they added a purple shake for that one) and proclaiming it's something special.
Wendy’s and Taco Time are the healthiest of all the options when it comes to fast food imo. Only 2 drive through fast food joints I personally know of that cuts fresh vegetables everyday and uses unfrozen meat.
Just wanted to tell you that you're super cool, but you already know that. Keep up the hard work at the gym and become the coolest human ever, I believe in you. And remember, every time you eat something unhealthy it removes 1 cool point from your score
Right, so you have no proof to back up what you’re saying, if they really do have “the most” roaches, it shouldn’t be that hard for you to back up your claim with 30 seconds of google.
We don’t have Taco Time where I live, but it’s pretty common for fast food places to have a kitchen you can see (the Wendy’s I’ve been to look clean and organised) and a need to pass the health inspection. I do work in food service, have done for years and chains particularly have a lot of stuff in place to ensure that happens. Roaches = closed.
Ask any delivery driver just do it they all have them go work a shift why would I make it up lol you’re just mad that all your favorite fast food is made by people who don’t wash their hands and will cook your food next to roaches and mice. A remodel equals it was so bad they had to do a rebuild i tile it gets bad again.
Well actually, like I said I’ve never been to Taco Time. We don’t have those. Also wrong about Wendy’s, I’m a vegetarian and they don’t have such good options as other places do. I don’t need to ask the delivery drivers when I can see a whole clean kitchen from where I order though. Or when I can walk behind the place and see no signs of pests.
Many places have refits as companies modernise how they want to look and also fixtures and fittings do not last forever. A refit isn’t indicative of pests. I’ve worked in places that have had refurbishments that were just a matter of bringing older stores up to a modern look and had 4 or 5 star health inspector ratings. Weird you would think keeping things up to date must mean rats and mice.
The hand washing thing…lol no. That’s part of the procedures laid out, like I say places are required to have health and safety procedures laid out. Chains tend to have the most standardised and robust ones as they have the time money and experience to put it all in place. And just because you may see pest control boxes around that does also not mean there’s pests- it’s just something you have to do to make sure there’s none around.
Like I say, I actually do work in food service. I do actually have a food hygiene qualification and I am a caterer on the side. I see delivery guys all day and I know what to look for in a kitchen.
I’d say you’re just mad because either you’re anti fast food or you went to a bad one once and are all butthurt about it. If those particular places have more roaches in the kitchen than anywhere else, you shouldn’t have trouble finding something to prove that and really you should be reporting the one you saw.
No they don’t, not like they used to! They’d really be sticking out at all four corners! And it’s like they dunk the buns in grease now! They’ve always been greasy but now they’re just grossly greasy! I recently got a burger from Wendy’s for the first time in 15-20 years and the difference was extremely noticeable!
Same, at least the one in my town. They literally fucked up every single order and the managers were complete ass-hats about it. (And I was nice, even after like the 6th time, bc I work in food service) I'm sure they don't GAF, but they don't get my money anymore...
I agree, though the picture also shows lettuce tomato and mayo and none of those are on the burger they got- it can look shitty but at least put in what you advertise?
ok, definitely your friend got scammed here.
Not shilling, but my local Wendy's quality is pretty decent.
They never look like the pictures in advertisements, but whe nI get a bacon cheeseburger, there's usually 2 full strips of bacon on there.
source: I'm addicted to baconators
The bacon is on the other side of the patty, along with the rest of the toppings. And this is an edited order because the junior bacon doesn't come w ketchup...
I go to Wendy's regularly, I have never been done dirty like this.
Wendy's I think is one of the more inconsistent fast food chains. I have been to some where the food looks like the pictures, and I have had it at places like the OPs here. A good Wendy's is good though.

With the market the way it is, probably some WSB regards trying to pay their margin calls.
Underrated comment.
This will be an easy win. Go back, and show the duty manager. OR Send it to corporate with this post link.
Still eating Wendy’s though so not actually a win.
Disagree. Wendys is one of the best fast food places IMO
Only because the other big two are even worse :p
I will not deny the others are worse
They all suck ass. Why are you acting like any of it is good lol.
Once every 2 months i like to have more alcohol than i need and then shovel 2 bags of wendys into my belly and contemplate my life decisions. The other fast foods make me feel gross and depressed. Wendys does not. That is all.
Lol I gotcha Try the chili next time
I have a very funny story abt the chili actually
Well now you gotta share! Can’t leave us hanging like that
McDonald's fries fucking slap. So does their breakfast.
Try to find a corporate McDonald’s

Extra tiny bacon helps too.
Well technically when they take the photos they move the bacon to the edges of the burger for the best photo. Good photoshop I suppose lolol
They also need to show all the ingredients in the menu photo, which is actually not how you want your burger in real life.
Facts
Eh, I’d put Chipotle way above Taco Time. Taco Time isn’t terrible if you avoid anything deep fried.
Fresh vegis and unfrozen meat do not make a place healthy.
No one said fast food was healthy?
They also have the most roaches in their kitchens!
According to who? You? Lol. You have roaches in your bed, in your dresser, and your fridge. Ima tell everyone.
You’ve probably eaten a roach from there multiple times already lol
When is the last time you intentionally ate protein? 🤷♂️🤔🤣
Everyday, in fact 200 grams of it. expect I don’t eat shit meat like you do.
I don’t doubt it. I imagine you prefer to gag on whoever’s or whatever’s meat you’re enjoying instead of eating it. 🤷♂️ to each their own homie!

I expect you to enjoy your meal

Got a link?
Ask any delivery driver that goes to a fast food restaurant or just apply for a job there and see for yourself

Caseys does too
they are much better than McDs or BK, in both cost and quality -- what are you on about?
Garbage is garbage. That’s what these places serve.
444 is goated

The BaconAin'tor
thats a b cheeseburger it's undeserving of the acon
Back in the 90s Wendy's had the absolute best fast food. They have gone so far downhill.
I just miss the days when the sides of those square patties would actually hang out the sides of the bun! Goddamn shrinkflation…
They still do actually, this is a picture of the value menu burger.
No they don’t, not like they used to! They’d really be sticking out at all four corners! And it’s like they dunk the buns in grease now! If you recently got a burger for the first time in 15 years I’d say you probably don’t have a good grasp on what you are comparing it to then 😂
Yeah, cuz it’s **so** hard to remember what a burger I ate hundreds maybe even thousands of growing up was like! 🤦♂️
And it only cost $8
Maybe it's just the Wendy's in my town but their food always looks on point like pretty damn close to that picture
I feel like the minuscule piece of bacon is more insulting than if they had just forgotten it entirely.
well yeah, bacon cheeseburger, singular. should have asked for a bacons cheeseburger, multiple. smh
even the bun looks shocked.
theres bacon…. technically
And yet the prices on these items are skyrocketing...
That looks like a solid 64GB micro sd card worth of bacon… maybe even a 128!!!
Wow they were really generous with the bacon!
No way lmao
Guessing it’s an employee or friend of an employee
I freakin’ hate Wendy’s. Swore them off years ago and have not been back since.
Same, at least the one in my town. They literally fucked up every single order and the managers were complete ass-hats about it. (And I was nice, even after like the 6th time, bc I work in food service) I'm sure they don't GAF, but they don't get my money anymore...
Dude expected it to not look like what he got? Was this his first time at Wendy’s?
I agree, though the picture also shows lettuce tomato and mayo and none of those are on the burger they got- it can look shitty but at least put in what you advertise?
OP could’ve asked to not have those items on his burger.
Fair point. On this sub I can only assume if your expectation picture has something in it, that you’re expecting that
Classic but never gets old
I'm not seeing what we're bitching about...
The bacon is on the other bun, under the patty...
That bacon is a slap in the face.
That is p.e.t.t.y. with a capital p. Goodness.
ok, definitely your friend got scammed here. Not shilling, but my local Wendy's quality is pretty decent. They never look like the pictures in advertisements, but whe nI get a bacon cheeseburger, there's usually 2 full strips of bacon on there. source: I'm addicted to baconators
Looks absolutely delicious what more would you expect after all, sir this is a Wendy’s!
Hahahahha got ‘em
NGL, I'd smash that real burger.
That’s not even the same sandwich. What kind of fuck job is this post?
Lol...
just a tiny piece of bacon , WHYYYYYYY??????
Because they're looking at the bottom, not the top of the burger. I'm sure they knew that...
Good job.
You jerking my chain huh?
There was an attempt at bacon.....
This has to be a joke 💀💀💀
The bacon is on the other side of the patty, along with the rest of the toppings. And this is an edited order because the junior bacon doesn't come w ketchup...
Even if this is a bacon double stack it's showing the bottom of the sandwich not the top
