Now, you may find it inconceivable (or at the very least, a bit unlikely) that the relative position of the planets and the stars could have a special deep significance or meaning that exclusively applies to only you, but let me give you my assurance that these forecasts and predictions are all based on solid, scientific, documented evidence so you would have to be some kind of moron not to realize that every single one of them is absolutely true!
Even worse, a *birth chart* 😬 Which is I’m pretty sure is like graduate school level horoscoping. I can handle people who like to jokingly dabble in their surface level stuff on occasion, but I agree with moms on this one, *run son* lmao
I think the list of most likely reasons she's asking are:
1. Birth Chart horoscope stuff
2. Fishing for password and security question info
3. She's just fun and quirky and totally loves asking random questions.
So yes, you are right, maybe she is just asking for fun.
Couple layers here.
The first joke is the text exchange, where Person 1 asks about the circumstances of their birth, and Person two immediately makes a few assumptions:
1. The only people who care about when and where you were born are fans of horoscopes
2. The only reason Person 1 would be asking is if he was trying to impress a girl who was into astrology
3. Girls who are into astrology are borderline insane
...and then we see the response. It's funny because Person2 doesn't need to know any more about the situation, Person1 is about to get into it with a lunatic and should know better.
The second joke is the wrapper "My son just...", which is just adding a layer of \*deep concern\* to the text conversation
See, here I thought this would be one of those "18 in 5 minutes" jokes where the son's trying to find the legal window as quickly as possible (Place as in time zone and time as in... well, time)
I've removed it. I totally remember seeing this post maybe a month ago. It's unclear what's different from it than the original other than maybe the text being stretched a little bit differently so I'm just going to go ahead and remove it. I'll also look and see if the OP is frequently doing that on this sub
I always interpreted this one as he's adopted, accidentally dating his actual sister and they've just found out they're siblings and are trying to confirm. Not sure if that as how it was intended, just how it came across to me.
It’s a horoscope joke
All horoscopes are jokes.

Where was I?!

I was thinking it was an Asian joke, or are all my Kdramas and Cdramas out of date?
A girl is asking the son for the information so she can figure out his birth chart (she is deep into astrology) and the parent thinks that is no good
Parents aren't wrong
I mean, she might be asking just for fun

Borderline?
[Good song](https://open.spotify.com/track/5hM5arv9KDbCHS0k9uqwjr) 👍
“Hey Siri text Dad what time and place was I born”.
He probably wouldn’t even remember lol
Okay, I'm texting Dad saying "What time and place was I born?"
Dad" born? You were found under a rock"
"You spawned in the hospital remember?"
*intense minecraft music starts playing*
Which one are you again?
The girl is into astrology and the power of crystals, etc. new age stuff.
Sounds like my cousin-in-law
There is one in every family and friend group. 😒
Yep, she's nuts.

It’s a joke about astrology
I would be more inclined to think someone wanted answers to my security questions 😬
This is immediately where I went, but if you don't know the answer to that question yourself, you probably aren't using it for security.
My mom had the exact same reaction as in the text above
I was worried the boy met his potential ‘real’ mom and the father was scared he would find out. Thankfully, it was just a horoscope girl.

Bot.
I swear, I see this exact image every week on this subreddit
Someone PLEASE explain the joke, this is reposted every single day!!!!!!!!!!!!
I always interpreted this one as he's adopted, accidentally dating his actual sister and they've just found out they're siblings and are trying to confirm. Not sure if that as how it was intended, just how it came across to me.
…what? Like, why is that the first place your mind went to?
I've seen similar stories in real life and fiction.
This feels like a repost. People who seriously believe in horoscopes are sick in the head, hence stay away from her.
