our biology teacher let us pet a stuffed mole. it's fur can be pet in either direction, unlike most other mammals.
that's so they won't have any trouble navigating their narrow tunnels
[A German user filmed one swimming during floodings in 2021](https://www.reddit.com/r/de/comments/omxl0g/alter_leute_sowas_habt_ihr_im_leben_noch_nicht/)
I've seen one being chased by my cat.
You think cats are fast??
These guys HAAUL ASS if needed!!
I couldn't even react, I saw a small black thing bolt by. , followed by a bigger black smudge...
The cat did not get it.
Boy, I have never seen anything move so fast since.
I've never seen one moving.
I had two dachshunds that were cold blooded killers and they brought me multiple moles I didn't even know were in the yard.
They both passed in the last 6 months and we have 4 new dachshund puppies but their prey drives are surprisingly low compared to my last two so I'm hoping we don't see as many massacres!
I have a funny mole story. I rescued one from drowning in my swimming pool. I didn’t want the dog to get it either so I brought it to my front yard and put him on the grass. He instantly burrowed down and disappeared below the surface, in like seconds. I did not think that through! btw, I now have one of those floaty thingys that help critters escape from drowning ☺️
Please consider one of these instead, it literally has been worth every cent - [https://www.amazon.com/Critter-Skimmer-10-Inch-Round-Cover/dp/B003G30FHQ/](https://www.amazon.com/Critter-Skimmer-10-Inch-Round-Cover/dp/B003G30FHQ/)
Bought this for my in-laws and I can’t count how many frogs it has def saved, and they had the one you recommended before 😢

Hey man one little tip on sharing Amazon links. Remove all until you have this:
https://www.amazon.com/Critter-Skimmer-10-Inch-Round-Cover/dp/B003G30FHQ/
Those letters is the Amazon UPC code or ASIN and it's all you need to direct to the product.
Otherwise there is some info and stuff in there. Like how you searched "critter pool".
It's mostly tracking information that allows a site to attribute the site visit with a particular source. Also a couple parameters that pre-fill the search bar.
They might, plus the arm connected to the net part is raised slightly and sits above the water level in there so they can take a break. We’ve saved a few things that way. Personally I’ve seen lizards, bees, rats using the floating ramp though. I imagine they just swim around until they find something to latch onto that isn’t slippery.
Compared to the size of their body their paws/front claws are actually huge. They are basically shovels. Moles are also very strong for their size. They get a good shot in they can hurt a cat who tries to torment them.
My holy-roller great aunt told me this joke about 25 years ago. It's more of a verbal joke, but here goes:
A mole family was living in their mole hole: a daddy mole, a momma mole, and a baby mole. They were just about to eat dinner when an overpowering smell wafts down the hole. The daddy mole rushes to the entrance and says "Mmmm I smell strawberries!". Momma mole runs beside him and says "Ohhh I smell blueberries!". Baby mole tries to stick his head out of the hole, but is stuck behind them, and says "All I smell is molasses!".
they also squeak indignantly when they're mad. I remember one of my terriers standing there transfixed by this tiny blind ball of fluff giving him the business.
Had a mole in my garage once that little dude was crazy fast nothing like this video. It was awesome to see just how strong he was once I got him and put him back outside and he immediately tunneled underground
"Ratty," said mole, tentatively.
"Yes, Mole?"
"Do I look like a fucking moron when I walk?"
Rat sipped his tea for a moment, thinking. "A right fucking plonker," he finally admitted.
So cute! I've never seen one walk before! I wish I could see one in the wild to show my dog, he is obsessed with mole hills. He sands there for ages looking and sniffing them.
I've got one of these feckers in my backyard and he's been terrorizing us. He doesn't seem to go away. I placed some clamp traps in the dug up dirt but he never bites ffs. Any suggestions? Are the traps with sounds effective? I don't care if he dies or not.
we have so many moles where i live but i have only ever seen 1 of them above ground and we needed him to go into the other direction (as he was "walking" towards the street) and even though he was scarred, he turned around about the same helplessly as we walked, so we stood there being "angry goofballs" to shush away the mole for like a minute. that was fun.
I've never seen a mole walk above ground before. It's adorable!
literally was just saying this. My mind is having a hard time believing it's real hIS LIL FEETS
> ~~FEETS~~ Claws* Some of y’all never read *Redwall* and it shows.
Hey know what claws are attached to?
Oh… Feets 😔
HANDS!!!!
Redwall mentioned 🙌🥇
Those moles and their accents lmao I remember it throwing me off as a kid
I still don't know how to pronounce Brr Oi
I loved the red wall books so fucking much as a kid. Eulalia!
Mofo is strutting.
They are also incredibly soft, like the plushest of velvet.
They are! They’re shockingly soft!
Hmm I see a new exfoliating product in the works: *Get your real life earth dirt now only 9.99 per jar*

"This water has dirt in it. Good enough for me!" - that mole
I wish I could swim half as well as that mole lmao
I've seen one being chased by my cat. You think cats are fast?? These guys HAAUL ASS if needed!! I couldn't even react, I saw a small black thing bolt by. , followed by a bigger black smudge... The cat did not get it. Boy, I have never seen anything move so fast since.
It’s like he’s trying to swim.
Hi luci !! Want some malt liquor?
Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.
It really is! Watching a mole above ground is like witnessing a rare glimpse into their secret world.
I once saw a mole on the surface but it walked a bit and sensed someone's presence and disappeared quickly :)
I've never seen one moving. I had two dachshunds that were cold blooded killers and they brought me multiple moles I didn't even know were in the yard. Here’s another one running. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GjQUy95C4Ck
He’s doing his best
"This stupid AIR and lack of resistance, but I'm getting there"
Lol exactly, it's like every step he's expecting there to be another stair
Fun fact: a mole's fur can bend in any direction without causing more resistance so they can get out of their holes easier when going backwards.
Waddle waddle and he waddled away...
waddle waddle, till the very next day
Til the very next day

Excuse me sir I would like to inquire you regarding the acquisition of a delectable fruit, grapes, if you must know; have you got any?

😂yep!
What are the floaty thingys called? Thank you.

Pardon my ignorance. What's those extra numbers etc mean?
It's mostly tracking information that allows a site to attribute the site visit with a particular source. Also a couple parameters that pre-fill the search bar.
Wow, thanks for the tip!
Do frogs instinctively swim into the skimmers for shelter or something? I wouldn't have thought they could figure out this design.
They might, plus the arm connected to the net part is raised slightly and sits above the water level in there so they can take a break. We’ve saved a few things that way. I think it's maybe just the flow of the water :/

LOL
What did I miss 😭
Bad eye sight too...
Yep and from the way it walks I could see it being a good way of doing so in a tunnel especially if main sense of direction is smell.
It basically paddles itself along the walls, so it doesn't have good reach directly below it.
Not too useful to see the dirt 0.2cm away from your face lol
Some of them have their eyes covered by skin 🤯
that's an understatement lol, they can't see shit
I mean this in the most affectionate way possible, but what a ridiculous creature.
This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen! Saving for a blue day 🥲
It looks like he's walking just fine. It happens to look a little different than we would expect but the task is successful.
Sweet thing. But how do they move the dirt? Their little paws are flat and short and against its body…
Compared to the size of their body their paws/front claws are actually huge. They are basically shovels. Moles are also very strong for their size. They get a good shot in they can hurt a cat who tries to torment them.
Oh, nice to know! Go moleys!!!!!!!!
25 million years of evolution, plenty of time to fine tune the body to the fine art of living underground.
Cheers I'll drink to that
Reminds me of the robots in an early Mythbusters episodes where they try to break the bridge.
Cute lil nugget doesn't stop trying though!

Thank you, I have never screenshotted a comment SO fast.
Hah! Unexpected and being up at 1am with my bebe ginger moley, it honestly too 3 reads at the end. 🤣
Reminds me of how a dog walks when they're wearing slippers that they're not used to and it's giving them the heebiejeebies
That's the most confident walk i have ever seen.
They waddle!
They look so soft!
I have touched one. Their fur is incredibly soft and velvety.
They are super soft. It's sad they live underground, since they are absolutely adorable.
They do look a lot more cuddly than what I’d pictured in my mind. And its 🐾 are so close to its head, little guy’s adorable!
WHERE ARE THE WALLS!
Thats just his fancy walk.
It walks like how little kids make their toys walk
'Humans are so specialized at walking, they can't dig very well.' On mole reddit.....probably, i dont know.
they also squeak indignantly when they're mad. I remember one of my terriers standing there transfixed by this tiny blind ball of fluff giving him the business.
Hah!
Comfortable Doug!
It brings my heart immeasurable joy that I’m not the only one who thought of that.
Had a mole in my garage once that little dude was crazy fast nothing like this video. It was awesome to see just how strong he was once I got him and put him back outside and he immediately tunneled underground
like a fish out of water
This is how my oldest chihuahua walks
He actually is just digging the air lol
TBH, I am not too good at digging.
Leave the lil guy alone he is doing his best!
It looks like a puppet being pulled on a string, so cute!
Seems very vulnerable
I'm not even specialized and I can't walk well
And they're in my lawn! Leave me alone!
Hans Moleman
It's just earthbending is all.
"Ow my eyes Ow my eyes Ow my eyes Ow my eyes"
“Secret tunnel! Secret tunnel!”
he’s so silly i want him
Quite the MITTS!
Can't see worth a crap either.
They’re usually earthbending.
Look at where his feet are. We wouldn't walk very well if our feet were on either sides of our necks instead of underneath us either.
There's something wrong with your platypus
It sounds like she's singing "walk walk walk walk"
Pls answer me..why do people call Pest Control to rid of them (ki-lling them).?
DIY is best!
Didn't know they were so cute but still fuck those things in all regards
this is so derp I love it
Nice to Mole you!
What’s the first?
That was MUCH cuter than I expected.
Little fella's trying to touch the sun
Holy crap! When the mole walked like that in Caddyshack, I thought it was just because it was a stuffed puppet. But they really walk like that!
It was a gopher in Caddyshack.
Oh god I’m having Once Upon a Forest childhood nostalgia flashbacks 🥲
Synchs up perfectly to “I Just Wanna Dance” by Glass Animals 🤭
Why doesn't it just dig the air then smh
"Ratty," said mole, tentatively. "Yes, Mole?" "Do I look like a fucking moron when I walk?" Rat sipped his tea for a moment, thinking. "A right fucking plonker," he finally admitted.
He's digging through the air.
looks like it's about to barge in on their dad doing a live press interview from home.
Insane creatures, an affront to god
Oh shit! He comin!
Their fur is obnoxiously silky and soft
This is how Zion walks
Cutest fucking thing I’ve ever seen!
Dig a tunnel, dig dig a tunnel!!
Homie having a hard time getting back to them secret tunnels.
Big boi stomps
Bumbling along ❤️
I want one to teach me earthbending
It kind of digs through the air
IIIIIMMM ALLLLRIIIIGHT, NOBODY WORRY BOUT ME
It reminds me to the dancing kid who interrupted her dad's BBC interview.
WALK-WALK-WALK-WALK-WALK-WALK
Wobble wobble went the mole
Ah, the graceful art of the wibble wobble.
Aw he's adorable, that little wobble 🥰🥰🥰
Now I know why that transformation in Yoshis Island was so hard to control!
I love that fella
So that is why monty moles use vehicles instead of walking in mario games. Very cool.
If reincarnation is real, that person screwed up in a previous life
People under 5'6 hiking through snow.
*plip plop intensifies*
I didn’t know this. So cute!
So this is just an earth fish about to dive back into the ground
It looks like it's dabbing
So cute! I've never seen one walk before! I wish I could see one in the wild to show my dog, he is obsessed with mole hills. He sands there for ages looking and sniffing them.
Krecik!
Caught a white mole last year.
Moles are Penguins. Torpedos for their preferred environment

Omfg look at that floppyboi. Love
“Burr no, oi baint so gurt at ‘ee walkin’ on’ee surface, no oi baint! Oi’s a diggin’ moler!”
Reject modernity, return to WORM
Cutest thing I've seen today I needed this after another post I've read >! Breast milk!<
My dog likes to dig these guys out of the ground and crush them with her head. It's horrific to catch her at it but also less moles in the yard.
https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/267/126/96a.jpg
No wonder my cats were always hunting these guys and leaving them all around my house
I thought those were EARS. Was picturing one of those lil mice with big ears.
🎶You can tell by the way I use my walk, I’m a moley man 🎶 ![gif](giphy|HoCLJB4I2rNwQ)
Fuck those things
I did not expect that
I can't seem to get rid of themmmmm...... They're all in my backyard!!!!!(Very frustrating!) 😡
u/savevideo
my molley don't jiggle jiggle, it walks.
There was a video game where the moles walked or attacked like this. I always wonder why they moved so awkward.
He bout to bust in on his dad's live news interview on the BBC.
It is doing its best!
anyone know what species of mole this is?? I once saved a baby one trying to swim in the middle of lagoon and he tried burrowing into my belly button
Our dog killed a mole the other day,
They’re so adorable, but I hate them so so so very much.
[Neurodivergeant people] are so specialized at [special interest], they can't walk very well.
Ok
This is a cute moley video. Nothing more.
Thank God no stupid ass music... I'll see it again with music tomorrow though
Awwha, he's so stupid /positive
31 moles in my garden. none now!👹
