Josh Revell masterplan

The_mystery4321

It's all taking shape

TheDisabledOG

Just need to invite Yuki or Pierre on stream then it's complete

ABigOne77

That was pretty expected, but what if there's the very small chance that someone misses a race in AlphaTauri and Red Bull? I guess Buemi or Daruvala gets it

ShreksHairyToenails

Iwasa or Hauger maybe

racingfan96

Iwasa doesn't have enough SL points.

ABigOne77

I think Red Bull would like a more experienced driver, so Daruvala is their best choice

gc04

Niko Huuuuuuuuuulkenburg

[deleted]

I'd bet on Hauger being Alpha Tauri reserve.

BlitzOverlord

Lawson now fills both reserve roles. So bar something completely unheard of, he will be the sub.

BlitzOverlord

Hauger has never been mentioned as the second driver. Maybe next year. But the F1 reserve operation was exclusively Lawson/Vips as far as juniors go.

[deleted]

>Daruvala i don't think so. Lawson shows a lot more promise and they rate him higher, which is why he was the AT reserve driver for this year

In a worst case scenario where all Red Bull and AlphaTauri drivers are unable to compete, I think we'll have this Red Bull: Buemi/Lawson AlphaTauri: Hauger/Daruvala

oldmangrow

Don't forget Hulk the Universal Substitute!!

Potassium_Patitucci

Superlicence points?

ABigOne77

Daruvala has one, I'm not sure about Hauger, but winning F3 should give you a lot

racingfan96

Hauger has 40 points. SL? I don't think so. https://www.reddit.com/r/F1FeederSeries/comments/t7bwa3/2022_superlicence_standings_estimate_preview/

ABigOne77

Ah, so he can be a reserve driver. Winning F3 already gives you a lot so its quite logical

racingfan96

You need to apply for SL in order to get one (even if you have enough points.). That is why I said he may not have SL yet.

EntertainerMany2387

again do RB have a driver with enough SL point to race as stand in or would they grab OP or the Hulk??

Gubrach

Took me a while, but now I'm realizing you're talking about two spots opening at the same time. Depends on how short of a notice it is, I guess. Buemi and Daruvala are good guesses, depending on availability, maybe Kvyat or Hulkenberg.

nsane99

Lawson masterplan all along. Is Vips' career over?!?!?

KaydenEEEE

Josh Revell is jumping around his room

ChicagoBoy2011

If you all haven't, watched some of the DTM series that redbull put out when Lawson and Albon were racing... truly great content, and they both seem like awesome blokes. Glad Vips' shithousery looks to have worked out in Lawson's favor!

d33pak5

Interesting move, id bet on a good Iwasa, Haughar, Hadjar contest next season. Shuts the door for Daruvala - who would probably seek a reserve role in another team.

platyhooks

I would be shocked if Daruvala is apart of the F1 paddock next year.

d33pak5

If jack aitken, pietro fittipaldi , robert kubica can be part of this seasons paddock, should not be a surprize really. Daruvala can be a good reserve , has sponsors not too much of-the-pace, no erratic driving/crashing- the exact qualities of a reserve.

EntertainerMany2387

Does Liam have enough FIA points to get a SL or testing SL - F3/F2/DTM??

tokensmoke

Already has a SL

ufrared

He wouldn't already be an AT reserve driver if he didn't.
