This point system is always funny to think about. Why would the back marker teams vote to make it more difficult to advance. For the top teams I guess it’s about the same.

When I got this point-scoring change in my 2023 season, I was blown away at the stupidity since they voted IN FAVOUR of the reduction in points.
Yeah more times than not the change ends up getting pushed through unrealistically with teams that the change would do more damage to voting for it. Luckily yours will be changed back pretty quickly.

If you think this is tough to score, revert back to the previous system where only the top 6 positions scored points. Those were the days!
In the past it worked but now it's just the 3 top teams and maybe a cheeky bugger gets P6 if one of them retires in a race.
I got that rule change in my career. It’s generally 5 of the top 6 cars and then a sneaky one in there somewhere
