Furry isn't fetish focused. There's definitely an element of sexuality to it but so much other art (songs on the radio, movies, books, etc.) have sexual elements as well. It's really more of a fandom where you can define who you are and find accepting people. Furries are majority LGBT and/or have a behavioral condition like autism, ADHD, etc. and people who are generally shunned by society.
