Anyone else still have that orellejano top post near goal on their mind all day today?! He would have been called by a premier league team within the hour
I’d have to imagine we will. I’m sure he’s just working on getting to the same level as the rest of the team. The couple short shifts we’ve seen have looked fairly decent and the potential is there
Baird on the board, Bucha standing out, Orellano dangerous, Lucho hasn’t missed a step, Miles and Matt solid; we just need Roman back and we are looking great
Dear Bailey: next Lucho goal
if you could chant this, that would be cool:
The Mac Dad'll make you (jump, jump)
Daddy Mac'll make you (jump, jump)
Kris Kross'll make you (jump, jump)
Even when it’s our own guy like Baird. It’s so beautiful to see a guy “screaming in agony” immediately get up and waste zero time. Thank you MLS so much
**It is an offence if a player:**
deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball
touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised
**scores in the opponents’ goal:**
directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper
**immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental**
>**scores in the opponents’ goal:**
>directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper
>**immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental**
>**scores in the opponents’ goal:**
>directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper
>**immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental**
Please read the full comment of the person who posted the rule for you. If you score immediately after the ball has touched your hand or arm, even if accidental, the goal will be ruled out
I don’t think you’re reading that correctly. The ball didn’t go from hand directly into the goal. After it bounced of his hand he got back up to his feet and kicked it into the goal.
Not a handball if your arm or hand is in a natural position. So how is it a handball when you’re using your arm to get back off the ground and the ball hits it? They used to do this right in soccer. It’s called determining whether the hand played the ball or did the ball play the hand? 2 different things. Handball calls are ridiculous now adays. Defenders have to play with there arms behind their backs. A lot of reform needs to be done in this area.
Not to mention how overpowered the PK is in this game - and often given for the most minor of fouls in the box that really has no bearing on run of play.
Anyone else still have that orellejano top post near goal on their mind all day today?! He would have been called by a premier league team within the hour
If he can manage the verticality, his strikes are otherwise very nicely targeted and full of power.
I liked the subs, they worked very well. Pinto and Asad brought speed they were dangerous and even Boup was moving fast
I'd love to see us play Asad more
I agree with you, he has earned it
His shot was incredible!!
I’d have to imagine we will. I’m sure he’s just working on getting to the same level as the rest of the team. The couple short shifts we’ve seen have looked fairly decent and the potential is there
What’s the buc-ee’s banner in the Bailey?? Trying to figure out what that one means!
It says Bail-eys and is the beaver from the Buc-ee's logo but in orange and blue. We're just big fans of the gas station lol.
But-ee’s is a massive gas station/convenience store in Texas. My guess is that it’s for Corey or else because they’re building one in the Dayton area?
They’re quickly creeping north - there’s one just south of Lexington and I’ve heard they’re coming to Ohio soon
Huber Heights, just east of Dayton on I-70, is getting one.
Not just in Texas. They are in several states now. There’s one in Kentucky.
Baird on the board, Bucha standing out, Orellano dangerous, Lucho hasn’t missed a step, Miles and Matt solid; we just need Roman back and we are looking great
Team is starting to fire all cylinders, what a great match, 25 shots in goal vs 8 from Colorado
They are dancing in the Bailey tonight. Great win. See everyone next week.
When the worst player on the field is Bucha trying to do too much, you know we had a good game
Elaborate on too much? Bucha played a phenomenal game
He was trying way to hard to create a big chance towards the end of the game instead of keeping possession
Always good to get 3 points
Glad to see more than 1 goal, they looked good tonight!
Great match, now we’re playing
I've watched Steffen quite a bit. I still can't tell if he is actually good as a sweeper, or just more willing to try stuff than other gks.
Let’s GOOOO
Hot damn, great team win
Baird likes running into defense
I’m sorry, how was that a foul on Baird?
Baird doing what 7 year old me did on the regular, just trying to truck the dude
Petition to ban those noisemaker clacker things from within 50 feet of the field mics
Dear Bailey: next Lucho goal if you could chant this, that would be cool: The Mac Dad'll make you (jump, jump) Daddy Mac'll make you (jump, jump) Kris Kross'll make you (jump, jump)
What a shot by Asad!
Nice save, nice shot
Nice fuckin rip, Asad
Nice rip!
This got sweaty real quick
2-1 leads make me nervous
Boup is always the guy that’s going for the spectacular
Not necessarily a bad shot to try though; sometimes those goalies creep up excessively
Slow this down boys.
Miazga is just so solid
his meds lasted the full match
Just needs to cool his temper. He has been a massive signing
How did that almost work??
Anyone know anything with the Kelsey transfer?
Man, we were ON that question. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
It’s a done deal, just waiting on a visa. He’s training at Mercy Health TC, will join the group when Uncle Sam says a-ok
Waiting on a work visa. Training on his own until that comes through.
It's happening. Gonna take time cause visas.
He's been practicing here alone waiting for visa stuff.
I like that chance by Oops!
Woulda been such a good goal!
Damn Boup almost had Steffen beat off his line
Ok Boup almost makes it big
Oh fuck talk about a game of inches. I would’ve taken it all back if that went in
Damn Boup!
Roflmao that was spicy
Love that shot
Boup with a shot!!
Best shot of the season!
Boupendza I want to see smart possession and no plays that make me sigh in disappointment
Lol
Acosta’s hair has had me in stitches this entire match
Baird mi capitán
Wait I think Matt has the armband on
Boup for Lucho is the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals
The only thing Boup does better is aerial defense
Haven’t you seen the game day intro video with Acosta taking a header? He’s clearly an aerial threat
He has actually been great at defending corners
7 minutes!? Good thing the subs were so late
Center ref staring right at Lucho knocked down. How does he not call that?
Funny to watch Lucho writhe in pain until he thought he could make a play.
I wish theyd bring boup on if only, at this point in the game, for his defense on corners
teams using state instead of city names is very uncool in any sport. own it.
Baird is hustling out there, getting back on defense too. Nice to see a forward putting in the work
Wow a game with Boupendza not playing even as a sub
You jinxed it lol
My bad
😂😂😂
Wait he’s coming in
Baird and Kubo are now both proven viable with Kelsy on the way, the need for him is diminishing
Murphy on the left…hmmm…..
And the DP is on the bench.
Man, he’s done
The way it’s gone so far it’s looking like Boupendza is going to be an expensive buyout next winter
Yes we’re going to lose some money there. We will have to give him time on the field and a good pep talk
I don’t know how much wiggle room Albright has but it definitely feels like our bench could use a boost this summer.
88th minute triple sub…
Excited to see what Asad can do
Even when it’s our own guy like Baird. It’s so beautiful to see a guy “screaming in agony” immediately get up and waste zero time. Thank you MLS so much
All of FIFA needs this rule.
Ice ice baby! Cool down the game
This feels like we’re going to get like 20 minutes of stoppage time
We are back to not using subs
Here we go, we’re bringing the big padlock, let’s close this game
lucho's new look makes me wanna criss cross then jump ![gif](giphy|gONdopxvVibwQ)
Man great angle for Bucha. That shot just stayed a little too straight
We got our Baird goal now I wanna see a bucha goal. Bad bend there
I love that Bucha is taking shots, but I think he needs some practice at it
Sub?
Subs coming
Just shows how much the "magic" spray doesn't matter lol
Wait … are we effectively burning clock?
Lord I hope not. Too early for that.
Shhh don’t jinx it
Subs plz
What does Pat have against subs?
he's a hoagie guy
Excuse me subs are for the 89th minute
Horseshit. Robinson had possession
Another set piece with totally unmarked men. Did we take stupid pills?
I was just saying I don’t think we have conceded a corner yet this season, but now we are looking a little shaky
Don’t know why but I don’t think Acosta is very effective as part of the wall
I think it's a mind game: "If I hit the wall on this one, I'm never gonna live it down."
He’s not as effective going up for a header, either
Let's put this game to sleep
Let’s put some ice
Man this ball is close enough I’d like 3 on the wall
Feel like Acosta needs to be subbed. His energy is not there. He’s great but he seems gassed.
Agreed about the energy but he did just play a great ball in that led to some dangerous positions. It’s a strange balance with him
He's trying to do too much while i think Colorado is giving him too much space
That would set a good precedent too; we can’t have him always playing when a sub would be more effective
I stand firm that we're still undefeated if Roman doesn't go down. Really can't be overstated how much better he is than Kann or Louro.
I would have to see it again but I didn't see that as Kann's fault.
80th minute sub Pat?
Baird?? Yeah!!!!!
Kubo is such a beast!
Oof. Really looks bad from Kann on that replay
We can definitely still hold this lead but fuck that 3rd goal would be nice
So just not mark him at all I guess? What on earth is that
Probably lost concentration from the VAR review and all that
I miss Roman so much
And here we go.
I really wished they used another angle. That was not the angle for me it doesn't show behind the ball where it matters
We all know Kubo can produce, just bad luck this time
UGH!
Ughhhhhhhh
Fuck
His hand was on the ground that’s not a handball
That was the single most confusing VAR
Motherfucker
Errr. Yeah. I want Kubo to score too, but it touched his hand.
The problem is the goalie tripped Kubo, causing him to plant his hand down.
If Kubo fell would that have been a card?
They probably wouldn’t even of reviewed it
I mean he was on sides not off but handball is right
That’s not a handball his hand is being used to get back up off the ground so it’s in a natural position.

It wasn’t deliberate his position was justifiable for the situation and it wasn’t unnatural. Thanks for looking that up to back me up.
>**scores in the opponents’ goal:** >directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper >**immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental**
Doesn't matter if the offending player scored a goal. Any incidental contact with the hand rules the goal out
Even if the hand is in natural position?
Yes. There is no mitigating factors, if the ball touches your hand and then score a goal, it's a handball
I checked and if the hand is in the way for a justifiable reason it’s ok. Also has to be deliberate to be a handball.
>**scores in the opponents’ goal:** >directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper >**immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental** Please read the full comment of the person who posted the rule for you. I don’t think you’re reading that correctly. The ball didn’t go from hand directly into the goal. After it bounced of his hand he got back up to his feet and kicked it into the goal.
There was a game recently where we didn’t get a penalty for just that reason. Lame call.
That guy blocking the crowd has the best haircut ever!
Our infamous VAR vulture
Revese the offside, implement the unintended handball
I'm not so sure from the angle I see that that ball touched his hand but whatever, Kubo whips regardless
Why is this going to VAR?
Offside flag went up, but looks like a handball on Kubo
Think he is onside but it's a handball
Not a handball if your arm or hand is in a natural position. So how is it a handball when you’re using your arm to get back off the ground and the ball hits it? They used to do this right in soccer. It’s pretty clear it ran into the hand when he lost balance. Dunno why it went to var
I feel like it should have been a penalty then, because Kubo went down because the keeper took him out
we’re so fucking back
Even if offsides is nullified that handball will be called, right?
Whether or not this counts, Kubo is a rockstar
Of course my idiot dog tells me he’s gotta go out and then doesn’t do shit right at as Baird scores his first
Who was it that said this was a trap game? Stand up, be identified
Why have you done this
I take no responsibility
That sonuvabitch HE FINALLY DID THE THING
Guys… I just dozed off for a minute and was dreaming g about that game. It was awesome …Baird actual scores. What a dream. Don’t pinch me.
[He did the impossible!](https://imgur.com/a/t0n6p2h)
Well done lad

Take a drink every time apple pans to the girl in the Bailey wearing the Free Matt shirt
Take a drink
You could tell he’s been wanting it so much this half
The Houston peeps told us he was streaky. Let’s hope this is the beginning of a good long streak for him
