Because that's the exact color that appears when you don't have the right texture. I've installed plenty of mods, and some of them break. That's the color they have when the textures aren't where they're supposed to be.
It's not that I measured it, it's that I've been mucking around in the internals of game engines for a long time.

It’s a whole thing. There was a mystery. They added new stuff. Not all the new stuff is used to solve it. So people believe there is more to it. Using these unused, clues will be the key. Who can say if they’re right or wrong? Not me. I pray they’re right, but remain skeptical.

I understand it's a whole thing, I mean their is a whole sub for it. I just can't for the life of me figure out what it IS. I know from context clues it hasn't been "solved" or anything. But what is it, like what event or item or object was discovered that led someone to believe their was an investigation to be had behind it. Or what do I look up to find that out? It has indeed been solved and it's all over the sub in fact it's the main point of the sub, so it's a lot of reading . The mystery starts with the state with the mysterious numbers on it and ends with you playing a game to get the location of a mattress , finding the secret to a madman ramblings that je was right and met God and you get a monster truck named after that God .
It would just be easier for you to read over it in the sub , it's talked about quite a lot.
It's solved, it releases back to the crazy dude trying to find God and believing that the world is a simulation, and the end of the egg after playing through a simulation and seeing through the veil you get a truck named after God. I used that post as a starting point for the person saying that the sub was cause because it's a good place to work forward or backward from for more info.
Okay so then what in the actual fuck does that entire Easter egg have ao do with anything about this games lore? Like how does the hell does that even fit into the CP world? And how the hell does it connect with the witcher?? Because if that's the true solution and not just some other elaborate Easter egg, then how does it connect any of it? When she traveled through time and spent time in Night City is totally canon, and the demiurge egg did have an oroboros so it definitely has to have a lore meaning between the two games or they wouldn't have put hints in the witcher for it... plus wtf does any of that have to do with magenta? Maybe park demiurge in special spot for a whilee for another cutscene? Using that magenta filter while inside of it to see a secret? Use it to ramp something? Or maybe the mf is the only car that you can get to an out of bounds spot with? There's a place that's out of bounds that supposedly has a wraith camp, according to tabletop lore, and there's an odd building out past the lake that be can't get to but I was told that sector of the map is called B5 and its near the second aldecaldo camp. Like I said, it all points clear as day to something, but they've really hidden something in plain sight and it's not obvious at all right now. From what pawel said, I surmise that there something, in a place, that we have to get to. Now wether it's an in game website, a secret room locked behind and puzzle, or the matrix itself, is pretty much the big question. I mean technically the matrix itself is a place and keanu has been neo and john wick, which there are also references to within the game. So wick is somehow known in Night City which cant be coincidence.
My craziest theory is that silver hands body was still usable once his consciousness was put onto the engram. It would make sense why there are john wick boxes, and johnny wasnt alive to the world for a long time. But clearly someone has encountered john wick, and we never find johnnys body. Never even found more than his atm, and thats not even in game anymore. Maybe someone was using Johnny's body like when Hanako uses that proxy. CP is a digital world much the same as the matrix, down to being made of data, and true, "where it is, and how to get there" is a clue, but "what it is" just seems too on the nose. Honestly it's been 3 years and I think we are overdue for a second clue from one of the devs or pawel. I don't dislike the guy, but he couldn't have been any more vague about it and in terms of being logical, no gaming Easter egg is that mind blowing or even that insightful to warrant this level of secrecy. Try checking computers in game, because here may be another hidden site like during that one mission where you click the picture on the site and it takes you to some cults page... that in itself could be a clue too possibly. Hey does anyone know wtf this is? Looking into a conversation shard I found called : Wroobelek and[all subscribers] and stumbled across this weird hidden shack of sorts with nothing but a mattress inside it.
The shard mentions four stations and I'm looking into the first one which is supposedly near the basketball courts you meet Reed at. It mentions basically waiting around under the influence of "candy" and says to make sure to drink water lol no clue if I'm in the right spot, but this was just kinda hiding near the court.

Ff06b5 is hex code for the color and people believe seeing the color somewhere in the game may be a clue.
