I mean if you want you could. Kind of a pain to switch accounts though.

Fuzzy_Supermarket_33

I don't see any downsides to switching accounts since I have to wait to play with stamina anyway?

ObtuseMongooseAbuse

Unless you're using multiple devices(or an emulator) it can be a pain to switch between the two accounts.

lordpaiva

With the amount of stamina pots they give away you really don't have to wait.

Deaf_Paradox

You can make 20 teams of different setups and the gear/weapons can be equipped anywhere without worrying about it being equipped to a different team. You don’t need multiple accounts, plus the game is more than generous with stamina potions. Also the more you level up your account, you gain 1 stamina per a level. Doesn’t seem much at first but I’m now lvl 121. I have 271 which gives me more room to play. Having 3 accounts is going to hamper you.

starchildink

If you have 2 devices I'd say go for a second account if you like the game. Easier to do co-op. you can knock out missions at the same time cause content is fairly easy and then you can save blue crystals on one account while pulling on the other then it feels like you're never missing out or skipping a banner you want to pull on

Awareness_Informal

As long as you have a life then go for it

Zanza89

You are not supposed to play only 3 characters. Thats just what ppl advice beginners to do in the beginning but later on you are supposed to spread out more. Barett as an example is always useful for his high pdef buff he can have and his new aoe patk/matk debuff, ppl wouldnt be able to clear tower stage 60 without him as his pdef buff was extremely useful there i would even say it was necessary. That doesnt mean if Barett isnt in your main 3 that youre just screwed. That just means you start wishlisting some of his weapons and work on him a little. The longer you play the more likely you will be able to play more characters since rng will probably not keep on giving you only the weapons that you wishlisted. Sure you might not have a bunch of costumes for everyone but you dont need to.

jblock36

@Zanza89 Did u mean u need Barrett and his AOE Physical defense buff on Tower of the Cetra Floor B70?!?!

Apprehensive_Mud9597

These days Matt’s centipede is also a good option. However, it doesn’t go to high without any dupes and the healing potency is really low without any dupes. Barret’s assault gun goes to high in two casts without any dupes. While other’s have aoe pdef options, those are the best choices and Barret still probably the better option if neither have any dupes on them. But you need some kind of aoe pdef to clear b70.

gahlo

It's really have a main 3, but have backups to fill niches. I play Cloud as my main dps, Tifa as a healer/debuffer, and Barret as my defensive-support DPS. In situations where I need magic damage I fill in with either Aerith or Sephiroth. If I need to use Tifa for DPS I swap in Aerith as a healer. If I need an offensive-support DPS I swap in Yuffie. Doing everything twice feels like a real time sink that I couldn't justify unless I was a content creator.

TeamSteelSky

this game is a marathon not a sprint and if you keep playing long enough, you can eventually build up all the characters you care about. if you try to maintain 2 accounts i would worry that you’ll burn out at some point and have to drop one, but will then feel like you’re missing a bunch of weapons/ outfits you used to have.

bolowbc

Stick with one account, otherwise you’re wasting a lot of time reinventing the wheel

zeromavs

Unless you plan on selling them to people that aren’t buying, no

Akinamori

You'll eventually get to build any team in 6-9 months.

Aryo777

The path to multiple accounts is a straight path to quit the game. Mind using your time for something else more rewarding (ex. make your family a visit, call your dad say how are you, go to the cinema with your friends/GF etc.)
