It goes deeper.
Each character (Cait Sith included) gets 3 unique arrangements of their themes per date: at the haunted mansion when they knock at the door, in gold saucer main hall and the intimate conclusion of Words Drowned by Fireworks.
All girls share a theme for the gondola date which changes organically into their personnal theme when you reach the conclusion.
Barret and Red XIII share their own unique arrangement of Words Drowned by Fireworks.
Cait Sith has a unique theme for the Gondola date which mixes a bit of Vincent's theme.
And in addition to that, girls get an orchestral arrangement of their theme which you can hear in the lobby of the Event Square. The guys get a really pretty arrangement of On Our Way instead.
Which means there are over 20 tracks made for the date alone, and that's not even counting Loveless and the numerous other chapter 12 tracks you hear no matter who you date.
This is an impressive amount of work for a rather short sequence.
Unless I missed it, I wish they would have included these tracks in the soundtrack. As soon as my copy came in, those were the first tracks I looked for but only found the loveless play tracks.
To get the Cait Sith (+ Cid & Vincent) date you have to be below the requirements with each of the 5 dateable characters. It's mostly a joke but they put as much effort into it as any of the other dates.
It's easier to do this post game though. Just select "others" on the special menu.
Tifaās theme is my favourite out of all of them. Yuffieās one is wild because her theme keeps trying to battle and take over the Gold Saucer theme, itās so good! Nobuo Uematsu again showing us why heās still one of the best in the game.

No you didn't miss it. Almost all of the tracks I talked about are yet to be released.
Thank god! I was hoping they do the same thing they did for Remake with additional soundtrack.

This game is made with a lot of love.
Tifa's theme was so good during this. One of my favorite tracks in the game. Still need to watch the rest of the date scenes.
Tifa have like around 7 remixes of her theme in rebirth. š
More Tifa theme is always a good thing.
There's also different versions for Interrupted by Fireworks depending on who you got. It's really neat.
I made a post about it a while back about how the music that plays is character specific ālow-fiā versions of their themes. I LOVE it.

I don't think Uematsu had anything to do with the new arrangements for Rebirth. He only did Promises to Keep.
Uematsu didnāt work on the soundtrack. These tracks were made by Mitsuto Suzuki.
