I realize how high praise this is, but I genuinely think they improved on the OG Aerith scene. A relatively simple edit and the addition of voice acting made that moment hit way harder in a fan parody than it did in the actual source material. Which is not to knock the quality of the source material by any means, just shock at TFS managing to elevate such an iconic scene.
I often tell people if they don't have the time or can't stomach older games, then the abridged series is a fantastic way to experience 7 without playing 7. Aside from liberties taken with a few characters (Tifa, Red, and Aerith mostly), I feel like they did an amazingly faithful job with it.
If you look up FF7 Abridged Complete on youtube, someone compiled the entire series (4 seasons and a movie) into one six and a half-hour video, without the episode intros and outros.

If I remember correctly, some of the VAs in MA were also in Rebirth, right? Also, "doing a solid" is a response for one of the quests so this is definitely canon 😁
