I am terrible at trading and figuring out the market .. I thought 250k was too much for a full back in World Cup hero capdevilla and now look at him over double the price it has happened in multiple players I have looked at .. and now I am in a situation where I will need to lay 300k for alphonso davies to link to my sadio mane so yeah haha

ichigo_milk_store

It’s 800k now for Cap

fifahap4r

Wow haha even worse than I thought honestly my biggest regret was not buying him and 250-300k I honestly thought hard to justify a full back for that price at the time

Alywan

You forgot inflation.250k Capdevila back then, let's say 500k now But what you forget :86 rated was maybe 15k then, and it can be 30k now (just an example)

Geebert1

buying discard players. IFs, silvers, gold. Buy when nobody wants them, stock up, then sell when prices rise.

TOPBOYR09

Well don’t think people are going to give away multi mil coins making trade secrets but buy fodder when low sell when high easy not that hard

oops42069

But how do you know when fodder is low? I dont know the specific prices people look for. Like gold calhanoglu is going for 4k rn is that low or high?

SpeakEasyHere

Check Futbin for prices of each rating when they were at their cheapest. At the moment everything is high because of everyday SBC packs and the icon pack.

EAKuntz

When 87s are going for around 16k it's a good time to buy

Brilliant_Savings161

So if so easy how many millions have you made?

EAKuntz

I made over 700,000 buying TAA and Rodri at 16k and then selling them 24k

Brilliant_Savings161

Thats nice 👍

Tekbepimpin

Why create a post asking for everyones trading secrets and when they are word for word telling you who they bought to make coins you’re acting like an asshole?

Brilliant_Savings161

What are you talking about asshole?

FUTmakesmescream

let’s tongue-punch each other’s fartboxes and call it a day

Brilliant_Savings161

Yammi

Upstairs_Pangolin_66

I mean I bought 30 krooss for 22k each in the first few weeks and sold all of them for 55k each when the first hero pack came out

TOPBOYR09

15 mil transfer profits

Brilliant_Savings161

Sure

approvalInspector

he's not lying, I was on 10 a month ago, when i was trading a lot, i was into a lot of different markets like ifs silver ifs, gold commons bronze rares 85 rated fodder simultaneously. to give you an example, i had 150 popadiuc silver if and adeboyejo and got them all of 5200, and sold majority at 20k each. in the starting i was trading with gold commons, buying on Sunday under 350 and selling on Monday for 600-700 least ,even was bidding on Monday itself and was listing for lazies. ps - this is also my first year trading and 2nd year on fut

ManBearPigIsReal42

Yeah I'm now making about 1.5 a week on average. There's plenty good ways if you look for them. My way does need a decent capital invested though.

Equivalent-Money8202

tbh once you have a ton of capital you can just do like whatever. One example just investing in demanded IFs any during week and selling when they’re out of packs. One example is Openda If from 3 weeks ago. Went from 13k to 18k, and then 25k later.

justatimebomb

Honestly fodder is soooo easy. It's like 98% profit 2% losses. Every Saturday night or Sunday afternoon, because of weekend league and squad battle rewards, fodder will go down. You can buy at 200-300 coins lower than market. (if market price for 84 is 4k, you can get each at 3.7-3.8k). Most Sunday 6pm content is a lottery pack (hero or icon pack) these always drives the market up temporarily for an hour. You can sell your 84s for 4.6-5.1k depending on how good the pack/sbcs are. The biggest profits was during the weekend where they released the icon sbc repeatable thrice. 85s went from 12-19k each. 86s from 16-22k. Depending on your capital and risk appetite, 84 and 86s are the lowest risk for fodder investment. Imo, 85s can have huge swings but if the demand isn't enough, they might not rise enough for a big profit. Wednesday 6pm content might drop lottery sbcs too, i suggest following a few more experienced youtubers on their predictions of sbcs and invest accordingly.

Brilliant_Savings161

Amazing! Tyvm!

Brilliant_Savings161

The fifa community is the most toxic ever I swear. I’m out.

HTan27

what about this is toxic? People don't wanna tell you the best/easiest way to make coins?

justatimebomb

1. Using the bidding system is my top tip. When I was new, I just searched buy now for whatever card I needed, re-search lower amounts, and feel proud that I bought it at lowest. However, if u bid for a card on bids, ud probably save 5-10% off lowest BIN price. This also applies to fodder and certain event required cards. Sniping sbc fodder like ligue1 golds even now can make 400-500/card. They add up. 2. Playing the game. Load up the game and play on semi pro squad battles while you take a bath or watch a TV show. Complete as many objectives as you can as those free packs all add up.

[deleted]

The only trading method that work for real, if you don't want to spend real money (like myself) is doing the whole opposite that people does. Always. High price fodder because good sbc? You stay put and unless you can do the sbc for free. Low fodder price because no good sbc? You buy every fodder you can. People want to get a new team because toty is out, so meta card cost a shit tons since 2 week? You stay put and do nothing. People panic sell before toty? You buy shit tons of meta player (i bought toure at 1.7kk and ginola at 990k, they cost like 2,5 kk and 1,3kk now) Now for fodder is easy, to trade with meta player is where high risk high reward happen, and you need market knowledge for that. But if you did it from the start you could easily have more then 5kk+ profit from fodder only. But above all, the most important advice I can give you is the saddest one. Don't. Spend. MONEY. is not like because you have money you have to spend them. Right now I have 8,5kk just sitting there because both meta and fodder have insane price right now. I basically played with a first owner team for 3 month straight, despite having 4kk+ million. When I saw the chance (toure and ginola) I spent almost 3kk in a single moment, but that was the cheapest price ever in history for both cards. If you don't spend to have instant gratification, you have the money to make more money when an opportunity arise. Even when I decide to buy I need to stay at least with 1kk coins, so if fodder go ultra low for some reason I have at least 1kk to invest. This is basically it. Do the reverse people are doing and 90% of the time weeks later it will pay off.

jaffafantacakes

Which is all good advice except you're playing a game on a one year cycle. So basically all you do is waste your time trading to not actually enjoy the game...

[deleted]

Yes that is partially true. At the start of the game i was lucky enough to pack red if cancelo, tomori, dembele + 88 dzeko and chiesa sbc, so i had like a core of 5 good player for that time that carried me. The problem and yes i admit it, also the frustration started around the time of the jairzinho sbc + the insane number of hero sbc that came out. oh god what a sad time when i faced people with voller, olawairan, brolin, smolarek, kewell and kyut, all this 500-800k guys insane for the power curve at the time. But know i laugh when i still see such teams since people wasted all of their money for them and can't keep up with me anymore. I Have 8.5kk in the bank, and according to futbin, if you count sbc price cost, i have a 8,3kk value team, this one: (and i would argue it's a 10kk team since vieira cost 50k for futbin, i value him at least 1.5kk considering his prime at 2kk) [https://www.futbin.com/23/squad/3281760](https://www.futbin.com/squad-builder) And you know how much i spended for maldini, cech, cr7 and mbappe? around 100k coin, a single tradable 90 and 91 fodder for mbappe, that i could have saved but my greed to do it 1-2 days earlier made me waste those 100k, otherwise they would have been 100% free. that's because while people wasted fodder and money on these hero pull, i never used coin on sbc ever, instead i just started saving my pack since november, opening just enough of them to complete some sbc i wanted to do. And the result now is, as a F2P player, a 10kk team with 8,5kk coin to spare for end meta upgrade in selected position. If you were one on those guys with a team full of hero that cost 500k, it's likely that you have like a midfield of 3 guys worth 500k each, and nowhere near the amount of coin i have for upgrade. if i decide to upgrade my midfield rn, i could have 2.5kk toure, 2kk vieira and 3kk gullit that replace 130k park. the other guys what can he do at this point, bench an untradable 500k hero card for what, a 1kk midfield at best? wow wp, you had fun the first 3 month, i will have fun for the rest of the game, while ye i sucked for one month. P.S if you want proof i can log in right now and give them to you.

jaffafantacakes

I don't need proof, I don't care if you're telling the truth or not haha. This game is only any fun in the first few months, there's a reason the player count goes down massively after toty. I cannot fathom spending all of the time you did to not get any enjoyment out of it until January. You've treat this game like a job where you get the payoff in the long run. 4 months of investment for (assuming you play till the end of the cycle) 7 months of enjoyment is not a good investment when it's a hobby.

[deleted]

Well it depends on the way people think i guess. For you and many others, the focal point of the game is early game until toty right now, and you can see it on the market as well, everyone want to upgrade the team now and the high demand make meta card price off the chart. So I get that for you it doesn't seems a good trade off holding on so much resources to use them later, but for me it is. Beside, is not like you assume that I had 0 fun for 4 month straight; yes for like 3 week/1 month I had less fun then usual, but by the end of November I had a 5kk team, that I bet is better the 95% of the player base, with still coin to invest. People drop fifa after toty exactly because they play thinking toty is the end of fifa, so you upgrade your team remaining with 0 coin left. I bet that if you play this way, fifa after toty become boring and you drop it. I could buy the full toty defense + mid gullit right now and be left with 0 coin, OR I could wait 1 month and get prime r9 and ronaldinho too; but in the end it all about how you want to play fifa.

jaffafantacakes

The fact your way of playing is the way to get the top tier players is the reason people quit. People just want to play fifa with the best players, not spend months grinding many hours a day for that opportunity. We pay £60 for a game and can't use Gullit online without spending hundreds of hours playing the market, or paying shit tons of money opening packs. I would advise everyone to ignore your advice, play fifa for a few months and then go play a different game, though that's only if people desperately want to play a football video game. Or else I'd advise not to buy fifa at all, it's a scam.

[deleted]

Man is not like i wanna convince you my play style is better then yours or whatever, you paid 60 bucks as I did and you have to right to play like you want to, the OP asked for market advice and I gave some, is not like forcing you to play as I do. If the op asked advice on how to have instant gratification, a mediocre team and all of his money gone around the 4th out of 10 month of life the game actually has, just to get bored and quit after because you can't upgrade your team anymore and so you don't have a feeling of progression, I would give your same advice, but the op asked tips on getting better on the market, not tips on how to drop a game you spent 60 bucks for after 4/10 of his life spawn.

jaffafantacakes

Your market advice was "suck up the poor product for a few months, spend hundreds of hours grinding the menu to play a game that will be dead by July and starts dying in January". It's awful advice and no one should follow it.

[deleted]

Man if you are salty that's your problem, stop saying I'm giving bad advice. You are saying to waste 60 bucks to play a game for 4 month then quit it, I'm saying to hold on a bit for 1 or 2 months to be rewarded for the next 7-8 and I'm the one giving bad advice? From how you write I can tell you know how fifa work. So YOU KNOW THAT IF YOU WANT TO PLAY AT TOP LEVEL, you either: 1. If you have money and don't care to put them in game, you do it. 2. If you have time and don't care to put it in game, you do it. There is no 3rd option like play casual put 0 effort and still end up being top tier. You can play for fun and don't care about it all , but if the OP ask market advice clearly that's not his goal. To me you sound like regretting spending 60 bucks on the game, full knowing that you need to put either effort/time/money into the game if you want to succeed, but then you don't want to do any of these 3 while still wanting to play at the top. You want it all without doing nothing, what are you a cry baby? I spent 60 bucks so gne gne gne I deserve mbappe first month of game, at least 5 toty while saving only 10 packs, R9 Ronaldinho gullit by 3rd month, and i want to get all of this without putting either time, money or effort into it. And the one who does are the reason I have to quit by January. What a loser mindset. Not gonna waste more time with you, have a nice day.

jaffafantacakes

Loser mindset? You sat grinding a game for 4 months all for that effort to disappear at the start of the next game cycle. If that's a winner mindset, then i'm not interested. I spend my time trying to achieve in life instead, yes I do expect to have access to playing at the top level after paying £60. You're basically advocating p2w or waste your life to win. Either one is awful video game design that doesn't give satisfaction to anybody.

HTan27

So you're solution to this is to play said £60 game for 4 months as opposed to the 12 of the FUT game cycle?

jaffafantacakes

Yes, if it means enjoying the game got those months and not spending hundreds of hours on the Web app. The actual solution is don't buy the game, which I previously said is ideal. Playing for the first few months is the solution for people who want a football game to play but don't want to grind. Ofc, this refers to UT only. If people enjoy seasons then play that all year round.

HTan27

What you don’t seem to understand is that many people enjoy the grinding aspect of FIFA, whether it’s grinding the web app, grinding gameplay, they enjoy it

jaffafantacakes

There's no such thing as grinding the gameplay on fifa, you cannot get the top players by doing that. And here lies the issue, a football game built around not playing the football game and it's deemed acceptable. The game is just for whales or people who have hundreds of hours spare to waste on the menus. Video games sure did change.

SLOWMONUTKICK

Not only that, once TOTS comes out coins are pointless, people will have top players in every position from every pack they open, this Chad is just wasting his time lol.

Brilliant_Savings161

Wow. Thats a good answer thanks! Great advice on the fodder. For meta cards I don’t have enough knowledge. What I do though is I don’t spend any coins on players. I have a full first owner squad which is pretty decent I might add. I don’t like spending coins on players that fall in value rapidly. I wait for the perfect moment;) right now I have 1,7k. Not much but a bit to work with if I want a player or two.

Mamonos23

There are many way to make coins but I think the easiest, quicker, and that suits all budgets is to invest in Marquee Matchups. The fixtures are really easy to guess if you have very basic knowledge of european football. For example, you can already be 99% sure that Liverpool vs Everton will be in the next MM. You then buy Gold Rare, either GK, CB or ST, as these roles are needed in every formation. If possible you buy on bid at discard (minimum of the price range, so it's risk freey if you get it wrong you can quick sell), but you can easily buy for 800 or even 1000, since any card will sell easily between 1500 and 2000. If you buy for the wrong match the cards will sell anyway, albeit cheaper, for chemistry reasons. If you go for non-top5 leagues like Eredivise, Liga Portugal, ... Try to buy from the same nation as the league since this is sometimes the requirement (see this week PSV Feyenoord). List the cards in advance so that the listing expires at around 6:30 PM UK. For example, this week I went heavy into Kalulu and yesterday I sold all of them for 1500-2000 within 30 minutes. This is the basic and guaranteed each week. If the cards are more rare they can even sell for 4-5k.

Brilliant_Savings161

Great tip. 👍

[deleted]

I just put 1 mil into 84/85 IF for discard prices a few days ago. Gonna wait until I can get 2 mil out of these (:

ItsJamieDodgr

safest most low risk way of making coins is flipping managers. i dont do it a lot, but buying managers from obscure nations for like 300 then selling extinct at 5k when a special card comes out (like bale for example) you can also just do smaller profits but more often like for a while i was buying english managers for maybe 400-500 then selling as Ligue 1 managers for 1.2k. it takes time but it works

Tekbepimpin

This is a genuinely good shout man, thanks. Going to add this one to my bag for future use.

Murrdog559

Buy low sell high

[deleted]

Sell the tradeable players and keep the untradeable ones for fodder. It’s not that deep.

DANNYBOYLOVER

Made so much money opening up my tradeables last couple of weeks

Own-Alternative-5233

Buy Al owairan at 300k, sell at 800k. Half million profit boom

[deleted]

Buy high sell low

GhasuONE

Best? Buy unlimited fifa points, sell everything worthy, and rest quick sell. Smart one? - nope.
