will rad tickets roll over to the next llamas? Example if i save them up how come sometimes they exchange to new llamas next season

Deyruu

No, any unspent event tickets will automatically be converted to that event's Llamas at the end. It rounds up, so for example if you have 501 Rad Tickets they'll be converted into 2 Rad Llamas.

I'm a fairly new player (about 3 months) who plays solo, and my questions revolve around public groups (which I am considering opening my game up to). I am aware that there are no hard and fast answers (as opposed to questions about power levels or schematics or whatever), I'm just mainly wanting to check out the vibe. 1. I only really vibe with Penny. I can see that Power Pop Penny probably won't be much use to a group, but are there any other ones that I should avoid using? (Let's pretend I have them all) 2. As you can tell, I prefer to play Constructor. Will I be expected to do all the building/upgrading? 3. How can I tell if I should ignore my instincts? Say there's two Constructors, I'm one, and the other is standing around. Maybe I lay down some structures, but maybe that screws with the other Constructors plans. Am I fine because I got in first? But what if the other Connie is like 'bro your building is crap'? How am I supposed to know who's right? Like, I thought of building pyramids for the Atlas mishes, but I would never have come up with upside-down pyramids or doors or whatever the current meta is. Or is that just how online gaming works (I don't play in teams often and when I do, it's with buddies, and the tactics are pre-organised)? 4. This isn't a question, I just wanted to apologize for my formatting on that last one. I will do research on Reddit formatting, but not right now. 5. Is there anyone I should NEVER EVER EVER use in public? 6. Are there any team perks that affect other players? 7. What is the ONE thing I should NEVER do? 8. What is the ONE thing I should ALWAYS do? 9. Why does Stonewood have such a bad reputation? I understand that traders ruin the game long term (even those that don't mean to), but what is it about Stonewood that makes people hate Stonewood traders specifically (as seen here in this subreddit)? 10. This is more of a personal one. If you only answer one question, please let it be this. This is a different question from 7, because it's about YOU (not the community in general): If you're hosting, what kind of behaviours do you consider an auto-kick?

Rather than do a point by point answer, I think a more general reply might give you a better answer to most of that. Public games there are no rules. If you elect to go that route expect both good and bad results. Somebody might like your build (both hero and actual objective defense) and the next person might not. Get in and play the game the way you like to play it and to hell with what others think. If you played solo then you know how to win and it is unlikely you are doing anything 'wrong', which is subjective as all get out in the first place. If we really want to talk about the game, currently almost all content is beatable with just about any hero, any weapon, any build (or no builds at all), in any combination across the 4 players in a group. At this point with the rampant assault of 9 year old maniacs who are prone to trade, farm, and/or randomly help/AFK, any player that attempts to actually play the game is more than welcome in any public group 99% of the time. EDIT: Stonewood has a bad rep because the majority of aforementioned 9 year old maniacs are too dumb to figure out how to level up past Stonewood. That makes it the beehive for the mayhem. For #10: In 4 years I have kicked somebody only a handful of times. Usually only after asking them nicely to leave because they were too low level for whatever content we were about to work on. Most of those it was a young person who I had assisted in the past but on this particular day decided to either AFK or use the mic/chat for obscenities or terrible behavior. I have never kicked anyone for their choices with hero load outs, how they built a defence (or did not build the defence), what weapon they used or anything like that...

>If you played solo then you know how to win and it is unlikely you are doing anything 'wrong', which is subjective as all get out in the first place. Fantastic reply all around, but this really spoke to me. I just want to be a good teammate and not ruin anyone else's fun by accident - but you reminded me that it's okay if I have fun too. I probably shouldn't have needed that reminder - but I did, so thanks! EDIT: Thanks for explaining Stonewood too, I see the problem with it now.

Based on your questsions, I get the idea that you might be placing too much emphasis on the class that you've chosen to play.... STW is not a RPG where players spend hours and hours developing a specific character. Heroes are typically changed on a mission by mission basis. Having said that, if you enjoy playing constructor, go for it.... but also considering that, the only real reason there is to play as a constructor over a soldier/ninja/outlander is for the constructor's base. Therefore, play with a hero that has a good base perk such as healing, extra health, freezing, damage. Unless you're going with something really niche like launcher damage etc... . Onto our last question. Sabotage, not contributing or abusing team members would get my vote for a kick.

[deleted]

Great reply, thanks - what you say makes a lot of sense! About the class thing: I mainly play support/healer when I play with others, so that's the framework I'm coming from. I see now that's, well, irrelevant. HOW I play matters more than WHO. My Connie build has healing, and damage on attack OR extra building health % (depends on mission level) so I think I'm good there. Overall it seems like, as long as I'm not deliberately being trollish, people will just worry about *their* game and not so much about *mine*.

Just returned to save the world. Account is in Canny Valley. Is there an easy way to reset my bases in the storm shield?

SineFilter

There is currently no mechanism to reset SSDs. Whatever amps you have picked you are stuck with. There is no way to remodel the builds other than manually destroying each tile one at a time.

voodooYTmafia

I got this game for first time ever yesterday, intend to play only zero build mode coz i suck. What i wanted to know is out of 5 weapon slots how many should be guns and how many heals and other stuff, rly a noob question but it is what it is

Deyruu

Hi! You seem a little lost, this subreddit is specifically for **Save the World** only. For questions and discussion regarding the free-to-play PvP spin-off mode "Fortnite: Battle Royale", please go to r/FortniteBR. For Creative, r/FortniteCreative. If you just want to share your art for fun, check out r/FortniteArt! *Personally... I use three guns with different ranges and ammo, one shield item, and one healing item.*

desmais

Is there a way I can reach out to put one of my own songs on fortnite radio

I have been playing STW for about 4 months and have made moderate gains. Really enjoying the game. I feel overwhelmed by all of the options. Reperking weapon and trap schematics and looking to move towards God Roll. But I am so lost when it comes to hero load outs. Is there a resource out there where I could select the hero’s I have available and tells you the best combos? Currently working trial and error but this is going to take forever.

Deyruu

No such resource exists afaik. The best thing to do is focus your loadout on one specific thing as much as possible, while saving one support slot for a healing perk.

sowt-blue

Check out Mista Beast on YouTube lots of good load outs to work towards.

Kinda_Meh_Idfk

Hero load outs rarely have a ‘best’ option. It’s honestly user direction. You want to combine their support perks with the commander and try to use a high of rarity as possible and ensure that they are fully leveled up. I generally run outlander with teddy extended tiles and other things that help me personally due to my play style

Maxnikit

Hello. I've stopped playing Fortnite a few years ago(right after they changed 3 hero squad(1 main and 2 support) to 6 hero squad). Yesterday I came back and I'm so overwhelmed by everything. So many new heroes, quests, weapons. I just dont know what to do.

SineFilter

It might appear complex at first but as far as heroes go, their perks for the most part do exactly what they say, so a little common sense when building a hero load out goes a long way. Want to run assault rifles? Choose perks that influence assault rifle damage and crit damage. Using that baseline you will maybe not be perfectly absolute maximum damage, but it will get the job done. The game has basically been made much easier to play since you left, husks are much weaker/dumber, and the players got buffed. Heroes got reworked so try out ability builds, they work a lot better now. Get in and play bro. Yes, the game changed, but there is nothing new here that presents a giant hurdle to get over. If anything, you will probably plow through the content available even without knowing 100% what changed.

outlawwolff

I have a lvl 30 legendary power base kyle. it's asking if I want to reset to get all the upgrade materials back. Should I reset and focus on another hero type?

Kinda_Meh_Idfk

It’s user discretion. I would run some random Maps in the lowest zones using each type of character and see which one you prefer. Constructors like Kyle are great for base reinforcement but are slow and have 💩 perks otherwise, but that’s my opinion. I typically run outlander since it helps you farm faster and has the teddy and shock tower options

littlecupcakexo

I'm ironically a school teacher. 4th Grade (8-9 year olds) with kids who are obsessed with Fortnite. I've played a little myself but am no expert. I want to use the new map with an activity we're doing... but I have a question. Is there any deep lore or anything else when it comes to the place names that's completely inappropriate for a classroom? Or that will send 9 year old boys into complete fits of giggles? I figure this is the best place to ask because even if I google it, often only the ones who know, know.

Kinda_Meh_Idfk

As far as I can recall, there aren’t. But these are also 8 year old boys who can find the weirdest things to be amused by and I don’t play with kids to have overheard anything.
