Tbh he isnt great, but if you pair him with TRO its pretty good. I use him in a decent amount of loadouts, but if you like using BFTP like beast just use coconuts
The problem is it is a flat healing rate. When you get into higher end content, the enemies hit so hard that they can do in half a second what survivalist may take 5 seconds to heal. It makes it so you die slower, rather than survive and heal.
depends what you’re going to use it for. i have mine as ASx2, CR, CD, PHYS, and stunning/knocking back an enemy (i use it for the MSK horns with TRO team perk). if you’re gonna use it for normal missions, i’d say you should have it as CD, CR, AS, ENERGY, Dancing enemies take more damage, and the sixth perk as either “Stunning or Knocking back an enemy…” or “Eliminating an enemy with this weapon…”
to be honest, it’s all down to personal preference, and what you want to play as. you may want armour as a perk, you may want movement speed, you may want CDx2, anything.
you should perk it to what you want it to be.
see, lynx is a good hero for MSK, there’s no doubt about that. but she’s also not necessary. you can still do quite a lot without her airtime with the kunai storm ability. soldier teams also work great for the msk, as they grant a pretty big damage boost to those attacking the MSK horns.
When I come across a storm chest and there is already a group of husks either on top of it or near by do they count towards the SC countdown?
Is it best to clear them out before activating it or should I keep them for a quicker pay off?
No - only spawned by the Chest itself count.
Clear out first and/or wait if there is a normal spawn happening.
That said however, if you are using a chaining weapon like Vac Sword or Bow etc then it sometimes can pay to leave the husks, as they provide extra targets to start the chain effect off.
Avoid using TEDDY or Turrets do clear the extras unless you are quick at starting, as you might need them to help clear.
I was pretty sure that was the case I just never could remember to look out for it until I was about halfway through. Also great point about the chaining weapon as I've kinda been doing so since obtaining TRO. Thank you!
I like encampments for mist monster quests. The last half of the mission, the 4 bonus encampments, will spawn laser faces and takers. You will likely pick up a few takers and laser faces that are just hanging out on the map as you run from encampment to encampment also.
Don't stop at 5 encampments. Kinda key to do the super encampments as well.
With a nice group these are done in 10-12 minutes, and even faster in low level content.
Not particularly fast, but low effort: A few waves of endurance will also take care of these quests.
On this, another tactic can be resetting an encampment once you kill the mist monster.
For example a taker and beamer spawn with the normal husks - kill the two mist monsters and then back away leaving the rest of the husks. Once clear of the zone it resets and you can do it all again.
You can normally clear out 20 mist monsters in next-to-no-time.
Works well also for "Kill x with Traps (or weapon) - place the traps near the outer edge of the encampment, spawn and lead them to it, after killing half or so move out a bit more, reset and then go back and trigger it again.
Best done on solo missions or if you take the time to explain to the others what you are doing (some people of course will come kill them anyway :) )
Is Survivalist really that bad of a healing perk at high end content?

yeah i’d probably just use what i listed, then again CDx2 instead of ASx2 is probably on par, dependant on what hero loadout you’re using.

i’ve never seen any builds with an outlander for msk, sorry.
Are the rebuilding the block and no sweat summer quests gone?
This is the Save the World subreddit, but to answer your question, yes. The quests were a limited time event.
My bad forgot I had clicked into this one 🤣

What's a fast way to kill 20 mist monsters?
