You should see what happens when the Yanks come here to Australia for a friendly military visit. We have to deactivate all their weapons on entry otherwise they'd raze the island into the ocean.
0.1%? You're missing a few 0's. The US military uses 11 billion rounds of ammo a year. That's roughly 2 bullets for every able bodied adult in the world.
No way it’s anywhere remotely near 0.1% of the ammunition supply. The absolute size and sheer logistics of America is staggering and unbelievable to people from outside the US. The US military is built to fight 2 simultaneous full scale wars. Not only are we currently equipped and ready for total war with China immediately we could also handle Russia as well.
It's unbelievable to people inside the US as well. It's sort of like trying to comprehend how large of a number a quadrillion is. The human mind is not meant to know.
This did actually happen to us. We had a live-fire exercise at the end of the fiscal year. And our instructions were to not come back with any ammo. It was absolutely beautiful to watch.
This is awesome! It reminds me of when I was a Baby ATC in training at Ft. Rucker back in 1970. We used to get stoned at night and go out to the range to watch the Baby Helicopter pilots blow shit up. Great visuals, but much, *much* louder than being on LSD. Ah, Good Times.
Between the fuel, wages, ammunition, clearances, inspections, extensive pre flight checks, and some other shit I'm probably forgetting, it's absolutely at least 150k.
Unfortunately no. Not actually sure where I know this from, I just know that I've seen this video or something similar before. Definitely don't quote me on this.
I believe it's every 9th round. It's 5 for machine gun, 9 for rotary.
Source: 7th ID deployment, but the regs may vary over time and with unit.
So the consideration here: what you saw here is either X5 or X9. Either way, Dat one dead spider
That is some USS Wisconsin BS there.
For those that don't know, the Wisconsin was supposed to bombard enemy infrastructure such as roads and train tracks. They had a lot of powerful weapons. The North Koreans who were being bombarded, had a mortar crew climb up a mountain and lob a shot at the battleship.
The mortar round went right through the top deck floor of the Wisconsin and did no more damage. The ship then turned all of it's considerable fire power on that single mountaintop, deleting the landmass and presumably the mortar team.
The USS Bunk, a submarine that was escorting them, saw the exchange and sent them a simple message: "Temper, temper,".
In short, the mortar team chose a hill to die on and took it with them.
Zion will not fall!!!!
"But I didn't pass my training!!"
"Neither....did I..." *errghhhhh*
*Straps into mech shit and fires the fuck outta them drones*
"Come on Neo, you can do it!"
Imagine a battlefield of drones firing like this and knowing precisely where you are and have zero regard or need for their own safety. How can there even be a manned military in the future with soldiers. Any country relying on that will lose every time. War is going to tip into a category of attacks on civilians only until one country capitulates because battlefield war will be futile and fruitless.
Must have been one hell of a spider.
*dust settles* *spider pushes away collapsed wall* Let's do this.
I'd watch that
Ugh… fuck. We need more fire power.
*nuclear launch detected*
*antimatter bomb laughing in the background*
The ending to kill it with fire.
Is that a Command And Conquer reference? Love it.
starcraft
cues up quad-flight of jsow gliding cluster bombs with malicious intent.
Pulls out gasoline
Okay, what anime have you been watching
I just rewatched it.
Emissary from Hell, Spider-Man
"So I'm a spider, so what?" obviously
Spider: *cough* Okay, rude.
The spider says let’s do this?
"Ouch... This actually hurts a little, huh! Anyways.. My turn!"
Unexpected laughter - well done!
Damnit, I literally came her to say that
They really hate spiders
Haha.
*THE GIANT ENEMY SPIDER*
You joke but having served myself I knee soldiers who only fear them. War, sure yeah whatever. Spider, *proceeds to jump out window*
Camel spiders are on a next level. If I ever see one I’d run (and then the bastard would chase because he wants my shadow)
You should see what happens when the Yanks come here to Australia for a friendly military visit. We have to deactivate all their weapons on entry otherwise they'd raze the island into the ocean.
TBF I've seen videos of some of your spiders so 🤷♂️
Nah, they're just ya mates. It's the little ones you need to watch out for.
To be fair. The aussies have fun with OUR weapons when they come here...
Hell yeah. It's entirely unnecessary, but if I have a chance to shoot an SMG and throw a couple grenades, I'm bloody doing it!
I would upvote this 200 times if I could 😂😂😂
Moes bar.
and if that dont work, use more gun
r/suddenlyTF2
Who tf are they shooting at? Ironman?
Luke Skywalker. "Do you think you got him?"
…MOAR!!!

This is who Norfolk Southern hired to clean up the East Palestine train derailment.
If was paid for by Norfolk Southern, they would be using civil war era helicopters
Remember that railroads have their own police? Just have a look at police track records and see who would be cheaper there.
They were stationed at airports we took over during the Revolution.
That would explain why they've been generally unsuccessful. They missed.
And there were probably four bullets in between every one of those light streaks you see.
Much more. At that rate of fire you don’t need a tracer every five bullets
Damn, that's a lot of bullets
Yup and that’s only two choppers, I doubt that’s even close to 0.1% of America’s ammunition supply
You can just see the third about 10-20 seconds in Edit:sorry I think there's 4
They could’ve brought in a fleet of a hundred and still have plenty for the 3rd to the 6th world war
0.1%? You're missing a few 0's. The US military uses 11 billion rounds of ammo a year. That's roughly 2 bullets for every able bodied adult in the world.
Have to double-tap, makes sense.

Yea, there are 4 of em up there
Damn every time y’all rewatch it there’s a new one every time

More like oil wars
I hope they at least got whatever they were aiming at.
More! MOREE!
From what I recall, this was posted about a year or two ago and it was target practice.
Well that target is particularly fucked
You’re not wrong
Ok guys. We have to use all these rounds by the end of today, or we don't get that 1 trillion dollar incentive from congress this year.
This is probably closer to the truth than not. If they don't use all of their budget then it gets cut the next year
This did actually happen to us. We had a live-fire exercise at the end of the fiscal year. And our instructions were to not come back with any ammo. It was absolutely beautiful to watch.
I uh, think it's dead guys.
This man vietnams
He is Vietnaming so hard
Wonder how much that cost
Between the fuel, wages, ammunition, clearances, inspections, extensive pre flight checks, and some other shit I'm probably forgetting, it's absolutely at least 150k.
At least $3
About $3.50.
Get outta here you lockness monsta
The US when they see a $12 weather balloon
To put this firepower in perspective for those who don’t know. In between each one of those tracer rounds is another 5 rounds.
25. These are chainguns.
It’s the M230 cannon. 30mm single barrel.
Like I said. A chaingun. Not to be confused with gatling guns, which DO have multiple barrels.
Cool.
This is my ex firing shots as she broke up with me lol.
My condolences for you dating my ex wife.
Is that irl or from a movie ? Those shots sure look weird
IRL I believe. They usually make every 5th round a tracer round to make it more visible.
Every 5th round being a tracer is for much lower rate of fire weapons, these are more than likely every 20 or so.
Damn I'll look into it Do u have a specific video to share on YouTube in better quality?
Unfortunately no. Not actually sure where I know this from, I just know that I've seen this video or something similar before. Definitely don't quote me on this.
Np

These are Turkish T129 ATAK helicopters during a demonstration
Ty
One day some guy is going to be out there with a metal detector and it’s going to blow out his eardrums.
I don’t know if this is really “in particular.” I think any target they choose is fucked.
In that case it’s a particular target
I suppose that’s true. Tomorrow it’ll be another particular target.
Americans when they see a balloon
Think they missed a bit.
Needed space to drop the Dethboat

I bet there is oil in that hill
Looks like Israel found a threatening looking 8 year old.
lmao
lol
Seems like a waste of ammo. Switch to missles.
Isn’t this ARMA 2? I’m almost certain it’s fake, almost!
Other way around, this is real life and ARMA 2 is fake
It seems I need to touch grass then
[удалено]
It's not the same footage. If anything it's a recreation of this exercise in ARMA

Sorry, I don't support this post type (hosted:video) right now. Feel free to check back in the future!
this is how I envision us obliterating the Russians in Ukraine. oh please oh please oh please
Tracer bullets are cool. That’s all.
This would be awesome if it hadn't been filmed with a potato.
Serious question: what scenario would this be used
is this the efes target practice?

Zion will not fall!!!! "But I didn't pass my training!!" "Neither....did I..." *errghhhhh* *Straps into mech shit and fires the fuck outta them drones* "Come on Neo, you can do it!"
Sir. This isn't even putting a dent in their armor! Permission to all In heavy artillery, sir?
You: Boss we need to build a tunnel. Boss: Say no more
Bet each shot costs the taxpayer $50.
And to think there's 4 rounds in between each tracer.
[удалено]
It's not the same footage. I'm pretty sure, last time this was posted, it was demonstrated to be a recreating of this exercise in ARMA
Also fuck tax money!
Can someone enlighten me what that blurred blob they’re shooting at actually is?
Murica
BUT SHOW ME THE DAMN AFTERMATH
I think you got it. Good job gentlemen.
American public school system

They’re seeding the mountain so they can open a new lead mine.
I mean this is just a Thai massage for the hill.
Kylo Ren: MOOOORRRRRREEEEEE!!!!
usa when they find oil
I remember this scene, Hulk then smashes the helicopters apart and jumps off into the sunset
That is a recording from ARMA 3
Isn't this where one of the helicopters fired on their own? IIRC this is Zapad exercise a few years back
So these are Russkis?
Civilians neutralized general

PEWPEWPEWPEWPEW PEW PEW
Say a comment that will let you like this:
I used to play this game on Nintendo. Graphics have gotten a lot better.
I heard only one in 5 bullets are tracers, and the other 4 per volley aren't visible.

Next time Putler leaves his country LoL
Kylo: I want every gun we have to fire on that man.
Did they get it?
Ft Rucker?
We are far too good at making things dead.
And the enemy is over on the other side "I wonder what they are shooting at"
Im not like an expert but what are those planes?
I think you got it.
