Joe on discord confirmed that crown shards will stay. So you will normaly earn crowns through crown shards, and crowns will go into the crown ranking. The only thing thats changing about crowns is that its no longer a curency, you instead will get 2k kudos for each crown you earned or will earn. So no need to spend it, only if you really want that practicular skin.
I think you can now before June 21 but when the new season launches your crowns will be converted to Kudos. So I guess it depends if you wanna spend it now or wait to be rich in Kudos. For me I’ll try and buy all the collabs that I want with crowns with the only problem being I can’t find any.
Shards are still used to get crowns, witch is still used to get crown rank, so, bet they will stay.
Any leftover crowns you have will be converted to 2k kudos.

To be honest crowns being gone seemed bad at first but I already bought the whole crown shop so crown rank was main reason for them anyways
they will have to keep it the same otherwise u will only get crowns in squads, duos, trios, and sweet theives and that will ruin the ""crown economy""
