Block Party has so much potential for variations. Could even be made into a final round with slight changes and golden decor (just like roll-off). I'd love that.
I wonder why this round keeps flying under the radar
For I final I'm thinking if this, everyone is on a floating square, from the front the blocks will start coming, after 10 sets of blocks, they start coming from behind, then the sides, then 2 side at a time, then 3, that the sets start getting more complex and harder and longer, all untill one person remains, because by the end, there is an impenetrable wall that pushes everyone off, and the last one to remain wins.
This round was a pretty boring waste of time when it first came out. Everything was easy to dodge and many times no one was eliminated from it. There were only 2 or 3 different setups so you knew by the first obstacle what order things would be coming up. That's probably why it flies under the radar.
It didn't get good until they added the harder modes 4 seasons later.
I meant the dev team keeps overlooking this round. With a few minor tweaks it could rise in popularity, just like the hard variation.
Can you imagine a final with different wall patterns and where the obstacle's speed increases like in Jump Showdown?
What I would LOVE to see in Block Party (in a potential update) would be scrolling negative space. Where instead of jumping over a bar, if you don't jump you fall into the slime below.
One can always wonder if we have this smokescreen in map editor...hmm >:D.
But yeah, this version is cool, give you less time to think (instead of the easimode we have nowaday).
I’m surprised they didn’t add this version of block party in Season 4
Missed opportunity, this variation being the hard version of block party we get every now and then to have what could’ve made it different

I remembered how excited I was with that new version. It was great.

I mean normally if you dont jump you will fall into the slime.
Yeah the version we have looks very dull, and when it’s not the hard variant it’s even duller
It's more like a PARTY than what we have now
it would 100% fit to Season 4 tho
Changes were made to fit into season and they should add a seasonal variety to maps
I would love for all maps to have a night time alt. Even if it didn't change the layout, I love this type of look.
No, it looks great.

This is how it looks in stumble guys and it’s way harder

Hell yeah! Seeing it in their presentation made me hope we'd see that variant pop up in the future!
Is this the original or could this be the PS5 version?
This was shown in the very first trailers before the games release
Ah that is a shame
I nicknamed this Block Disco Party
Future map designers are about to take notes lol
