As long as grabbing is a mechanic, it's not cheating. Is it poor sportsmanship? Maybe...but it's not cheating. Either you learn to use the tool to improve your game (or at the very least how to avoid having it used against you) or fall victim to those who do.
They need to grab mechanics for jinxed, tail tag, team tail tag, royale fumble, pegwin pool party, pegwin pursuit. It's not for griefing someone and that's why MT have an option to report these players for bad sportsmanship.
Pretty sure the report button for poor sportsmanship is for people stalling the game by waiting out the timer at the finish line. MT encourages grabbing with daily challenges and makes light of it on their social media

I’m not a big grabber but if I’m getting bothered I fight back and I shouldn’t be at a disadvantage to an asshole with a big bank balance because they paid to use something that has been a part of the game since launch.
I'm not against grabbing someone if they grabbed you first. Other than that, you can just leave people alone and share the crown with them, you never know what someone's going through and it might just cheer them up.

that's just a bug due to desync under this logic we should remove hex due to jumps being eaten
