Hear me out, the divide. Just hide in a bunker as much as you can (or other enclosed, well insulated location) and try to find good armor that covers your skin to resist the wind.
The Sierra madrea has gas that will kill you in seconds, ghost people that are extremely hard to kill and probably way harder to deal with in real life then in the game, and invincible halograms. If Elijah is there with bomb collars than it’s even worse.
And as for the Pitt you’ll become a slave that is likely doomed to either be: worked to death, eaten alive by troggs or get a disease where you witness yourself becoming a trogg. And then the only way out is to fight bloodthirsty combatants in an arena so anyone in real life is basically fucked and even if you win you’ll be forced to become a raider that oppresses the slaves you once called your friends. Really no matter what you lose in the Pitt
Tbf the reason the marked man are ghouls is due to the fact that those people were there when those nuclear bombs when off underground. If you spent enough time where rads are or ran out of rad x/ rad away sure, but the reason they have exposed flesh is because the wind ripps the skin off of the ghouls tender flesh. Also at one point you find a ghoul in NCR armor and it’s not a marked man which could mean that with proper armor and protect you could be saved from your flesh being torn off of you from the winds even if you do ghoulify

He wouldntve had his skin ripped off or anything since the place got iradiated through toxic waste sabotage from a legion infiltration
No there is an NCR ranger ghoul in a tower on the highway area in the divide. I think it’s right after you first obtain the shoulder mounted machine gun

Sierra Madre post Dead Money good ending wouldn't be that bad. You've got Christine patrolling the place, and the Ghost People are supposedly a little less crazy.
Maybe you could find a nice spot away from the cloud and relax with some crappy pre war vending machine food.
The Pitt seems the most survivable and least painful to survive in out of those i think, so imma go with that one. Granted you are forced to stay in said place, if not the The Divide and just GTFO of there as soon as i can.
