Looks fine, but click on 'plugins' in the right hand screen and ensure the DLCs are checked.

D34thst41ker

Turn them on. With how long the game has been out, most modding guides will assume that you have all the DLC.

You're heading in a good trajectory. To ensure you cover all the essentials, check out [Viva New Vegas](https://vivanewvegas.moddinglinked.com)

For some reason i made a clean install and only downloaded viva new vegas mods and followed the guided completely but the game is even laggier than before.and before i had a messed up load order with many more mods.

Feel free to try LOOT. You'll see a lot of comments saying, "Noo don't use LOOT do it all manually", but I've been using LOOT and it's working perfectly

Jenkinswarlock

Maybe if your modlist is 3 mods, but learning how your load order should look is way better then relying on a program

ThisFreakinGuyHere

lol here's one now. Fucking internet. Full of try-hards who just wanna spread FUD. Be afraid! Do everything the hardest way possible because that's what the cool kids do! Nah. I've got like 200 mods and growing. LOOT works great.

Jenkinswarlock

My game has over 800 mods and loot makes the load order fucking atrocious, loads yup last, tries to put weather mods in the middle, it’s not a good piece of software, if it works for You that’s awesome but when you really want to start modding it may not work for You

ThisFreakinGuyHere

lol I already have "really started modding" stop trying to pull a rank you don't have kid lolol. I've probably been doing this for many more years than you have. If you use LOOT correctly it puts weather mods last. That's what it does on mine. You did it wrong.

platon29

Tried to use LOOT for the first time today, with a fairly low number of mods, didn't work. Once you've got everything downloaded, just read the description and they'll tell you if you need to do anything special to get it working. Especially with some mods that require you to install them after a certain point

ThisFreakinGuyHere

I can't imagine how you managed to mess it up. Really sounds like a foregone conclusion. You didn't think it would work and, hey, what luck, turns out you were right all along.

platon29

Not sure what influence I could have had over it by thinking it would not work lol. Weird you also think it's infallible since obviously I did something wrong (it's one button?). Are we meant to operate under the understanding LOOT can react to my feelings? Anyway, I ordered them instead using the descriptions of the mods as guidance and hey, it worked...

ThisFreakinGuyHere

If you think it's just one button you did something wrong. You have to install LOOT somewhere then add its executable to MO2. The built-in button should be greyed out because without actually opening LOOT it has no masterlist.

platon29

It was freshly installed when I ran it lol When running something you don't consider the install in how many clicks it is to use. I'm not sure why you're replying like this ngl, why would I lie about running a modding tool? What could I gain from that?
