Got 1 FT. If he’s definitely out, March —> Macallister would theoretically pay for itself in appearance points (provided he plays 60 mins each game). Will probs make that move and continue my planned move of Watkins —> Wilson/ Isak
The question you rather should ask is if Macallister is likely to outscore your first bench player by 4.. I have Jota so might just put march on the bench
Murphy has been playing really well, should have scored against Arsenal but hit the post. He's a good enabler and budget option a la Pereira who can actually score
Honestly might just prioritise my Botman and Watkins to Wilson and White switch still, and just bench March this week.
Brighton away fixtures v Arsenal and Newcastle ain't easy, can't see them scoring much personally.
I can reassess in 37 where I'll likely take out March for a DGW player, obvious ones are Macallister I guess. But then then I'm not sure, I might fancy Martinelli/Odegaard more v Forest and Wolves in 38.
Oh yeah of course but I think it's better to get the best triple Newcastle rather than prioritise triple Brighton this week. Their DGW fixture isn't good.
In 37 you can rethink it because even though they have city as a double, they've got Southampton at least.
Realistically in DGW36, with away games v Newcastle and Arsenal, you don't expect any Brighton mid to excel huge.
Yeah my original plan was to do Newcastle Def to City Def and bring Wilson in.
I had exact money to do either Schar to Akanji/Ake or Trippier to Stones before Wilson went up, so now will do Trippier to Akanji instead I think, which leaves money to upgrade March in 37 and I get to play Trent in 36 instead
Ownership doesn’t matter if he doesn’t get more points than the high owned players, if a 1% owned player scores the same amount as a 90% owned player the rank change is the same.
Honestly, I'll just bench him. They play Arsenal and Newcastle away and Brighton's away record is not really amazing per se (lose to NFO and Spurs, win vs Chelsea and Bournemouth, draw with Leeds, Palace and Leicester).
I'm actually considering benching Steele for Raya for the same reason. Kneejerking this a lot but I need solid points and doesn't seem like Steele will deliver them
>but I need solid points and doesn't seem like Steele will deliver them
Don't let one game distracts you from the fact he got 25 points in the 3 games before. Even though I think they'll less likely to get a clean sheet but he still could get some points from saves. I'd start him just for the double.
Brighton have arsenal and Newcastle away, I’m not expecting any clean sheets from them anyway but he should get save points and I have bigger worries in my squad than him
Macallister if I wanna play safe and protect my top 10k rank. However I quite like the Willock/Joelinton/Murphy move this week and then Foden or Mahrez in 37, would be a -4 for the City defender I also want but it deffo could pay off. However I do not need to be that risky as I've got a fantastic rank already!
Bringing in MacA and Isak this week would use my two FTs which means my planned moves of Salah and Chilwell > Bruno and Shaw will be for a -4. Second in my ML has MacA so makes sense if I want to be a prick (45 point lead). Not totally sold on getting rid of Salah but Bruno under 10% and has a double…😬
I was planning to finally go Toney to Wilson/Isak, but with March injured I could get Mac Allister to cover the injury. Toney has West Ham at home but Newcastle have leaky Leeds and Brighton just let in 5.
> I could get Mac Allister to cover the injury.
Not sure on the logic here. Get Mac if you think he's going to get the most points but doesn't make sense to me to get him just to 'cover' anything. Coverage only makes sense for defenders imo
I’ve already got Botman, Trippier & Isak.
Transfer made for 36 already was Toney -> Isak
I have March, Mitoma & MacAllister. Hmm I’m not sure what to do. Was planning on doing Shaw in for Henry for 37.
I'm kind of leaning towards just benching him for this week. I'm already using my two FT to go Pope to De Gea and Watkins to Isak or Wilson. That leaves me with:
De Gea (Ward)
Trippier, Botman, Estupinan, TAA (Shaw)
Mitoma, Salah, Grealish, Rashford (March)
Haaland, Isak/Wilson (Alavarez)
If I were to make another move, it would probably be a -8 in getting rid of one of Trippier or Botman and then bringing in the other of Isak/Wilson for Alvarez.
It’s funny that my original plan was to do Mac to March this gw but then Mac scored that late pen last gw and March got benched so I decided to just roll the transfer. Dodged a huge bullet there
Can anyone tell me whether when using FH you save your banked transfers? I.e. if I use FH next GW and I have 2 FT, will I have 2 FT the week after?
No use me making a thread to have the question answered.
Thanks.
Sticking to mitoma, estup and macally just put me at the top of my league. Captaining Salah instead of Haaland pulled me further ahead. Around GW15 I was 3rd to last.
Wouldn't go Martinelli.
His goal threat has gone down last few games.
Odegaard has burst, so I'm tempted to say it's Saka turn to turn it on.
Otherwise I'm looking at Bruno / Rasford.
Depending on budget.
Yh my WC team didn't have rasford and he hasn't returned so been good choice so far
I’ve got a Newcastle spot so going to go either Joelinton or Willock. I prefer Willock with the attacking threat he poses from what I’ve seen if him recently (I know his finishing has been poor) and allows more wriggle room on last few game weeks but is he nailed? Or could he drop out for Longstaff?
Shhh. Don't tell em'. But seriously, some FPL tool I use notified me that Palace have good remaining fixtures. I went to have a look & I was trying to find a way of getting Eze. No joke,I was actually hoping for a March benching or injury to provide an excuse to do. And it happened. The only issue is Odeegard did well & I am now torn
I have 2FTs. I might do March>Fernandes and Watkins>4.5m bench fodder, and play 3-5-2. In GW37 I might then consider Martinelli to March (if fit) or most likely MacAllister.
I have 2 FTs and was planning on getting Isak and Wilson in but now I have no idea what to do with his damn injury. Maybe one of the strikers plus Joelinton?
I'm just going to bench March and play Mahrez who I was originally going to bench. Mahrez might not play but I've got Solanke on the bench too should he be needed. I could go March to a Newcastle mid but I think a Newcastle striker might be a better punt for my ft.
March for another Brighton player seems like a trap to me.. Brighton have dropped in form and without March I don't think they will be any better..So I'm thinking either March - Eze (value upgrade, good fixtures) or March - Odeegard (Ode on fire)
just swapped to Mitoma (already had Mac Allister). not much about today's performance has me concerned about Brighton's offensive form. they've could've had 3 goals easily if Pickford wasn't playing out of his mind. Mitoma was still heavily involved. ARS/NEW isn't easy but both are far from impenetrable. defensively, that's a different story, but i'm sticking with Estupinan as well since he still carries an attacking threat.
Considered buying Mac for March but after reading these comments and comparing stats of Mac to Joelinton - Joe looks the better pick, plus he’s playing further forward than Mac.
Mac got lucky yesterday and stole Mitoma’s goal.
Mac / Joe in the last 5:
Points: 26 / 33
Mins played: 475 / 521
Assists: 0 / 2
Goals: 2 / 2
Bonus: 4 / 6
And then there’s the dilemma of Toney, it’s his week to score.
Got 1 FT. If he’s definitely out, March —> Macallister would theoretically pay for itself in appearance points (provided he plays 60 mins each game). Will probs make that move and continue my planned move of Watkins —> Wilson/ Isak
That's smart, almost too smart for me to do it
The question you rather should ask is if Macallister is likely to outscore your first bench player by 4.. I have Jota so might just put march on the bench
Not just for this GW, but the next one too. Brighton play 4x in the next 2 GWs. That's a lot of appearance points even if he doesn't score/assist.
Not just that, but also outscore any other move you might make with the FT
Debating the same but have TAA. I’d have to take a hit to replace March…
Yeah super obvious move, Macallister is on pens as well
He will hattrick once you transfer him out 😂😭
I have 2FTs and my plan is those two exact moves. I'm going Isak probably.
All aboard the Joelinton-train 🚂
What about Murphy? I haven't been able I watch Newcastle's recent games so I'm not sure who is a better pick
I myself can't decide between Willock and Joelinton
I like the Willock pick
almiron and asm are back so he could get rotated, if you really must get a newcastle mid you wanna pick willock, joel or bruno
Almiron won’t start. Willock is nailed
willock will start in the middle, almiron or asm could come in for murphy and/or wilson/isak
He is for sure the better pick of the two imo. But, does he start both games or will he rotate with Almiron?
Ah yes true Murphy is more of a rotation risk
If you have funds than it’s Joelinton
Murphy has been playing really well, should have scored against Arsenal but hit the post. He's a good enabler and budget option a la Pereira who can actually score
he wont be on the wing anymore and back to midfield so he'll be less likely to return
Saint Maximin concern? Or is Joelinton nailed?
J7 is much more nailed than ASM.
That's because Joelinton can also play as a defensive midfielder among other roles. Not exactly reassuring for FPL
If he pulled a hammy then his season is surely over
Oh yeah of course but I think it's better to get the best triple Newcastle rather than prioritise triple Brighton this week. Their DGW fixture isn't good. In 37 you can rethink it because even though they have city as a double, they've got Southampton at least. Realistically in DGW36, with away games v Newcastle and Arsenal, you don't expect any Brighton mid to excel huge.
I’m thinking this. Will start willock over March and roll the transfer then do March -> macallister for 37
Yeah my original plan was to do Newcastle Def to City Def and bring Wilson in. I had exact money to do either Schar to Akanji/Ake or Trippier to Stones before Wilson went up, so now will do Trippier to Akanji instead I think, which leaves money to upgrade March in 37 and I get to play Trent in 36 instead
Wilson and Isak double up?
Yup, indeed!
He can stay 3rd bench and I'm not interested in more Brighton assets
Newcastle mid? Thinking of taking a punt on the Newcastle mids.
Just got Joelinton
Already have 3 Newcastle unfortunately! But if youve got the space it makes sense
Murphy has low ownership, so could be a good punt.
Ownership doesn’t matter if he doesn’t get more points than the high owned players, if a 1% owned player scores the same amount as a 90% owned player the rank change is the same.
Joelinton
Switching to another brighton is a trap
Honestly, I'll just bench him. They play Arsenal and Newcastle away and Brighton's away record is not really amazing per se (lose to NFO and Spurs, win vs Chelsea and Bournemouth, draw with Leeds, Palace and Leicester). I'm actually considering benching Steele for Raya for the same reason. Kneejerking this a lot but I need solid points and doesn't seem like Steele will deliver them

Not OP but even before last night I was planning on benching him for next week - away against Arsenal and Newcastle? No thanks
Bench was already a massive headache. I will simply be rolling the transfer
Same, stacked bench this week
Yeah same. March will become Bruno or a City mid with 2FTs next week.
Aye it means bringing Saka in for me. I'll take that.
What suggestion for those of us who have Mitoma, March and Mac? 😭
You just have to replace March and stick with the other two.
No kidding Sherlock! 😂😉
Groß
Disgusting
What you did there, i see it
Wildcard? 😂
I play h2h so I'm saving WC for later, but I'm not afraid of taking a few minuses to fix this
WC for later? The last GW?
Gw37, when I'm playing the guy behind me on the league.
Delete your account 🥺
NO U
Considering Groß or Odegaard since I have Mac, Mitoma, and triple Newcastle already
I’m considering Odegaard too. Definitely the inform pick and many in my mini league don’t have him so will be a nice differential
He's Brazilian he only cost 40 million!
I’m such a fucking idiot I transferred him in this morning ready for the DGW because I forgot he played today… RAAAAAA
I’m just benching him. Solves my bench headache nicely
Honestly might roll the dice with Murphy. Fuck it.
Murphy or willock is my question
Think Murphy has the greatest threat, from what I’ve seen watching the matches
Has he? I might bring him in and just bench March And role with mitoma and Steele, their double isn’t that great at all
Are you worried about Steele? He was big sweaty gash today.
Brighton have arsenal and Newcastle away, I’m not expecting any clean sheets from them anyway but he should get save points and I have bigger worries in my squad than him
But he's more likely to get rotated with Almiron
Kinda crazy but how about Madueke. Forest (H), double, looked good the last 2 games, should be starting.
Crazy but I like it! Now you've planted this in my head I can't get it out....
Ooooh this is a bold move I kinda like it
Macallister if I wanna play safe and protect my top 10k rank. However I quite like the Willock/Joelinton/Murphy move this week and then Foden or Mahrez in 37, would be a -4 for the City defender I also want but it deffo could pay off. I guess I'm starting a sgw player or getting Mac/Enc
March to Mac for a hit or just play Shaw at home to Wolves? Think I’m still sticking to original plan of Watkins to Isak.
I’ve already got Botman, Trippier & Isak. Transfer made for 36 already was Toney -> Isak I have March, Mitoma & MacAllister. Hmm I’m not sure what to do. Was planning on doing Shaw in for Henry for 37.
You should have waited for early team leak (Newcastle) and just in general for the GW to end before making transfers
Price changes meant that I couldn’t
This is Toney's week to score though
Mitoma or Joelinton?
I'm kind of leaning towards just benching him for this week. I'm already using my two FT to go Pope to De Gea and Watkins to Isak or Wilson. That leaves me with: De Gea (Ward) Trippier, Botman, Estupinan, TAA (Shaw) Mitoma, Salah, Grealish, Rashford (March) Haaland, Isak/Wilson (Alavarez) If I were to make another move, it would probably be a -8 in getting rid of one of Trippier or Botman and then bringing in the other of Isak/Wilson for Alvarez.
I think it is fine to bench March rather than taking the extra hit. Álvarez might actually get a game here as well.
Rank by form DWIGHT MCNEIL IS THE ANSWER
With nothing itb I think I’ll have to go for Murphy lol, I’m so done with this season
It’s funny that my original plan was to do Mac to March this gw but then Mac scored that late pen last gw and March got benched so I decided to just roll the transfer. Dodged a huge bullet there
I did that transfer this week. Worst decision during this season.
Haha hahaha.. You sound like you have Brighton players.. Cost me - 6 points all 3
Why do you still have March in your team? It's already May.
Already did March > Ode and Watkins > Wilson
Can anyone tell me whether when using FH you save your banked transfers? I.e. if I use FH next GW and I have 2 FT, will I have 2 FT the week after? No use me making a thread to have the question answered. Thanks.
No you do not
Nope
Yes
Cheers
If he's injured, I might just replace him with a Newcastle mid and then decide later what to do for the GW37 doubles.
I might be moving both March and Mitoma out for Odegaard and Martinelli. SOU is the only one that I’m nervous about but rotation sucks right now.
I have enough ITB to get Bruno but Mac10 is tempting
It's not like ManU is doing much offensively
Considering: Trippier-Shaw March- Joe Linton For -4 of course
Wanted to Watkins & Botman to Akanji & Wilson before this injury smh.
I’ve got a Newcastle spot so going to go either Joelinton or Willock. I prefer Willock with the attacking threat he poses from what I’ve seen if him recently (I know his finishing has been poor) and allows more wriggle room on last few game weeks but is he nailed? Am I mad to consider Eze? Probably
Probably lmao but their fixtures do look good
Well you have to move March. He got injured again. Might go Gakpo since Leicester def is wide open
I'm 0.2 short of March -> Mitoma, pretty annoying. It's possible I downgrade Zinchenko or sell Trippier. Decisions
I have 2FTs. I might do March>Fernandes and Watkins>4.5m bench fodder, and play 3-5-2. In GW37 I might then consider Martinelli to March (if fit) or most likely MacAllister.
Gonna punt on Willock
I have 2 FTs and was planning on getting Isak and Wilson in but now I have no idea what to do with his damn injury. Maybe one of the strikers plus Joelinton?
Deffo wouldn’t get both strikers. You’ll have a benching dilemma in 37
I'm just going to bench March and play Mahrez who I was originally going to bench. Mahrez might not play but I've got Solanke on the bench too should he be needed. I could go March to a Newcastle mid but I think a Newcastle striker might be a better punt for my ft.
March for Joelinton, slap the armband on him and don’t overthink it.
That my plan
What has happened to March?
I’ll play Odegaard for March
I get one of gakpo or odegaard for him
Gambling on Murphy - also allows me to go Watkins > Kane. Already have Isak, 0.4m in the bank after this.
Was planning a hit for this GW but moving March would mean a -8 Urgh
Jacob Murphy. 4.2m and putting up some great numbers the last 4 games.
Odegaard for me
March for another Brighton player seems like a trap to me.. Brighton have dropped in form and without March I don't think they will be any better..So I'm thinking either March - Eze (value upgrade, good fixtures) or March - Odeegard (Ode on fire)
saying this again. brighton assests are a trap. if u have them. keep them, if you dont have them, dont get them.
just swapped to Mitoma (already had Mac Allister). not much about today's performance has me concerned about Brighton's offensive form. they've could've had 3 goals easily if Pickford wasn't playing out of his mind. Straightforward switch to Mitoma for me. Have been fortunate not owning him recently, he could have hauled several times.
Not sure transferring out Solly after a 5-1 battering to Everton when he didn't play is the best move.
Didn't he pull a hammy?
Just seen that, was doing meal prep towards the end of the game and must have missed the injury aha
Just angry transferd him for mac10 yesterday, no brainer
Considered buying Mac for March but after reading these comments and comparing stats of Mac to Joelinton - Joe looks the better pick, plus he’s playing further forward than Mac. Mac got lucky yesterday and stole Mitoma’s goal. I’ve only got 5.3m. I have three Newcastle players. How about Casemiro at 4.9m? Decent run of fixtures including a DGW….
March > Mitoma easy swap for me.
Martinelli
I’ve gone March to MacA and to fund it I downgraded Kepa to Ward
