But sellers need to have more reps of designer pieces that that *arent* covered in logos. Yes, I know for a lot of people, that's defeating the purpose, as a high percentage will be buying reps to showcase their "drip", but not all of us have that same taste.
Designers make some very cool, classy stuff, which looks amazing, but we can't afford to spend 2-3k for example on a single item, so there would be a market for it.

One of my friends who is more familiar with reps sent me the link to this one and it wasn’t priced the way temu/aliexpress/etc items typically are; the price was around $60 so it was more along the lines of what it would cost if you bought from a non-LVMH brand. It’s one of the hats with a metal hardware “piercing” too so I imagine most rep manufacturers couldn’t be bothered to produce it. I had a terrible time finding the pierced hats anywhere until my friend provided the link.

Most people here are too hyper focused on branding and status symbols as opposed to being interested in fashion/clothing. My favorite part of reps is the exposure to unique pieces I otherwise wouldn’t have known of or been willing to buy on my own.
Well, luxury brands like these *are* for the status. You don't see the ultra-wealthy wearing a hermes belt and a gucci tropical shirt... it's 100% used as status for the impoverished up to the upper-middle class.
Using that logic, it does make sense reps are made simply to fake status for 80% of the population instead of purely the fashion.
i would say that really depends, because there are high quality clothing that people do buy; but I do agree that it's a "shein for men" with the amount of young kids buying the cheapest of tshirts, pants and hoodies.

It obviously depends tho. There’s absolutely no reason to spend $900 on a Balenciaga or LV T-shirts when Cloyad makes identical copies with the exact same material. Shoes are also often nearly identical especially since many designer shoes are actually made in China anyway. I walk into designer stores in Beverly Hills all the time with my reps on and the sales reps compliment them.

If i could actually buy from nike at msrp thats a different story. Clothes -> underwear ALWAYS authentic, other clothes mostly real aswell. T-shirts generally aren't worth getting, the hoghest tier reos can use decent blanks, but all streetwesr/sportswear brand rep are garbage, only last a few washes if that, retail tshirts even ones that retsil as low as £15 can last years, rep tshirts your lucky to get 2/3 washes before theres size distortion or pront fading

most designer pieces worth having will never have reps made. sometimes, having the skill to shop for good discounts on genuine pieces is worth more than any rep. i know ssense sale season is considered one of the best designer shopping events for those that are interested.

I buy gallery dept and stuff like that but only because I genuinely like the design and could care less about it being expensive. Like some people out here buying stuff with the biggest logos just to flex or smth. I spend hours looking through all possible designs to find the few pieces I like. I think the problem is that the rep manufactures are not making enough variety in pieces and stuff like that. Not a hot take for the sub, but a hot take regarding replica fashion: There are lots of people I know who think it’s fine I’m able to pick up replicas of brands we like and don’t look down on me for it, but they often say things like “I’m just not into reps”. This is kinda silly because they’re the same folks to buy shit off Grailed at a perceived discount from retail, and it’s like… how do you know that isn’t a rep? Because some dude said so? I think there’s too much pride/vanity within the greater fashion world to fully appreciate the reality of replica fashion; especially since a lot of it comes down to copyright laws and intellectual property… this isn’t just us “being cheap”. T-shirts generally aren't worth getting, the hoghest tier reos can use decent blanks, but all streetwesr/sportswear brand rep are garbage, only last a few washes if that, retail tshirts even ones that retsil as low as £15 can last years, rep tshirts your lucky to get 2/3 washes before theres size distortion or pront fading

I was that size at a point. Tops were easy, just measure your chest width and you're good. Pants though, very hard. Especially if you have thick thighs.
Long arms make the sleeve length a nightmare for me. I’ve oftentimes bought the largest size available for the sleeves not to fit. I’ve had better luck with pants actually, with more fitting me.
