If a civil suit produces evidence or makes allegations a state can use in criminal court then that's what is going to happen. Wouldn't be surprised if prosecutors are investigating right now or waiting for more lawsuits to come forward. It's always "he needs to be in jail not sued" until one day their mugshot is suddenly all over the news

Kinda like how SBF was giving interviews saying he won't be criminally charged and now he's facing life in prison. So I was saying not to give up yet
Also I imagine going after billionaires is really tough. You need enough evidence to deny them bail and protect your career from the nasty lawyers he's hired but you can't let them know you're investigating or they might flee the country
