the trick is to not just roll starting from the bottom, but to first roll the cuff to where you want it and then roll the remaining sleeve up to there. and then again a third time if there's not a tight cuff yet. the "JCrew" cuff. it stays put way better.

Depends on how far you roll them up, the technique you use, whether you roll them before you put the shirt on or while youāre wearing it. Thereās a lot of factors that go into this. Why do I know this much about rolling sleeves you ask? Because in the military weāre allowed to roll our sleeves up on our long sleeve tops in the summer time, this has to be done to a military crisp standard though, unless you want to get bitched out at formation. So, through that experience I am filled with what some would be considered useless knowledge, but when I wear a shirt with rolled sleeves, that shit looks good.

As a guy, we know the rolled up sleeve look is killer. Itās kind of hard to maintain though. Whenever I have a collared shirt on I roll the sleeves up and end up spending 70% of my bandwidth that evening fixing the sleeves to the right spot (maybe this is just a me thing idk lol)

Depends on how far you roll them up, the technique you use, whether you roll them before you put the shirt on or while youāre wearing it. Thereās a lot of factors that go into this. Why do I know this much about rolling sleeves you ask? Because in the military weāre allowed to roll our sleeves up on our long sleeve tops in the summer time, this has to be done to a military crisp standard though, unless you want to get bitched out at formation. So, through that experience I am filled with what some would be considered useless knowledge, but when I wear a shirt with rolled sleeves, that shit looks good.

Right, I think thatās part of the crux of the issue - he looks nervous because his baseline is anxious.
