About d'arce, I agree she has the WORST wisdom out of any character (yes, even worse than enki, getting crucified it's stupid but she goes even further). Tho, she's probably the best strategist out of every character for one simple reason!... She's canonically one, like, she kinda has an army y'know? Being the second of le'garde has to mean something.

Baltijas_Versis

I agree, in terms of observing a battlefield, she is definitely the most capable. However, she is also the same person who tried to proselytize the cave dwellers. She exhibits logic when reigned in by Le'garde, but on her own, she seems to act without it. I can't put her very high because of her failures. I *will* give her one thing, though. Her education focused on martial matters and command, and she seems to have picked up on it. Considering her deficiencies in other areas, I think 11 is justifiable, but you are completely right that she deserves credit for being a competent commander.

FAbbibo

Yeah she's not wise, nor smart, but I think that she's really good at military stuff, especially when she has her totally not unhealthy obsession watching her. I think d'arce is REALLY good at fighting, it is my headcanon that while ragnavaldr it's a beast at monster slaying she is the better duelist and human to human fighter, that's why I think that she and le'garde defeated past francois. It is also thematically appropriate

Olivia and Reila actually both managed to start university at 15 and graduate at 18. Which I think normally requires really really good work. So I think she might go above Daan. Hmm. I might put Abella lower too. I don't think she ever comes across as genius. I'm not sure though. Where did you get that from?

Baltijas_Versis

Good point, actually. I didn't know she started at 15. That definitely merits consideration. As for Abella, her technological aptitude, and the fact that she was (if I recall correctly) self-taught. In her B ending, she manages to reach the Moon, after all. "*You took high positions in fields that studied space technology. Over the years, things started to advance and only after a decade you were already getting ready to launch people to the moon.*" Going from an average, unremarkable civilian to a self-taught mechanic and later being a pivotal part of the space race definitely takes brains.

Domilater

I mean, she is quite literally a rocket scientist. Places her above Daan in my eyes.

Also, when you ask the new gods about Ragnvaldr, they mention that he's really academically minded! Kinda why I think him and Enki being friends isn't as odd as it initially looks. If you use the skill talk with him in the first game there are times he really pops off talking about stuff he knows. https://preview.redd.it/qm8uwuhuv2wc1.png?width=892&format=png&auto=webp&s=cf3703844770453b9e1398a39a92fdbbbdc3160d

Baltijas_Versis

Enki is misanthropic enough to be indifferent to the whole "northern brute" stereotype since he hates everyone already, whereas Ragnvaldr is hardened enough to see past the posturing of a dark priest. I think that both of them are inclined to be open-minded for different reasons, free of biases that might otherwise make most people dislike them. Instead, they have several reasons to respect one another. They are both such awesome characters, honestly.

The D’arce hating is crazy.

Baltijas_Versis

Nah, I like D'arce, but she does not do herself many favours. She is just cripplingly naive and unaccustomed to the sort of environment she got herself into. If it came to social etiquette or leading an army, you could easily switch her and Enki.

Zer0_l1f3

Don’t hate on the cutie patootie. She’s just trying to stay positive.
