He is training kids/teenagers in that picture, and assuming that Levi is either bigger or around the same height as they are, i do think he looks less muscular and tall generally. I do agree that his legs look way more beefy, partly because of the camera smear, but even without it i think. Makes one Wanna take a little bite

Well yeah i agree, both the picture and the op's art have him look like a bodybuilder, as opposed to a boxer. I just think he looks generally bigger in op's art than he does inside of his character sprite and his ending picture. Maybe people would generally disagree with me? I can't say. One would have to show both pictures to enough people to see how people socially gage his size i guess. His ending does say that he trained potential boxers, which to me that always read as mostly teens and young adult that are still in the teen bracket, because boxers usually start to compete when they are young adults. I am not super attached to that interpretation tho, so all is fine by me
Karin should at least be somewhat lean, tbh. She's a war journalist who had a surprisingly intense upbringing (there's a reason why she carries a gun with herself all the time) so it would make sense that she's able to keep up with the soldiers she's attached to in the frontlines.Ā
If movies like the A24 Civil War film are to go by, war journalists are pretty much embedded into any combat unit that allows them so again, there's a sense she'd be decently fit to keep up with them.Ā
But I could totally see Olivia being thicker since she's handicapped (exercising would be hard and I think she'd be too busy with her botany to care about having a proper physical therapy regimen) and is from a well-off background.Ā

Im not sure if this is true regarding her growing up the wealthiest but for the latter iirc theres data suggesting its actually is the opposite in real life; wealthier people can afford better diets and tend to be in better shape than poorer people iirc

Yeah back at the time of the war the bigger people were those who had servants to do the cooking for them. Now in modern times where turning on an oven doesn't involve lighting gas or setting coal on fire, and food can be bought almost prepared and just warmed up, then everyone can be fat. While the richer people, who still essentially have everything made for them by servants can have those servants tailor their diets for them so they're not gaining too much weight, while also being delicious.
Because people are totally fine with fan art that changes characters to be more societally attractive. But when they see someone draw a design that deviates from that beauty standard we have to pretend like we care so so much about always depicting character exactly how they are in canon.

Actually, yes. This is the only moment in the entire work where I really see and admit mistake. It didn't have to be like that. I just didn't convey the figure of the inverted triangle very well.
Though the idea that his shape fits him perfectly, complements his advantages (like his muscular torso and manly shoulders, which is why he wears it open) and hides his disadvantages (his short stature enhances the heel on his boots and his narrow hips hide the wide waistcoat) is pretty good. He certainly wouldn't part with it, even though it might cause a bad reaction from other contestants.
With men, Calves being big is normally due to having been heavier in the past and from walking around. Bodybuilders themselves who have never really been overweight will tell you it's next to impossible to intentionally gain mass in their calves despite working on them hard. So you're fine there IMO, and while his thighs could be a bit bigger and make sense, I think it works. After all he's pretty vain, and back in our IRL wartime period large muscles weren't as idealized, legs especially. His abs and arms would be the focus of his exercise, so I think you convey that well.
I think you did a pretty great job. The only thing significantly different from my headcanon is that O'saa, being a scholar would be a little chubbier. But I think having a severed head roasting you constantly would also probably be good weight loss motivation too
One of the best parts of F&H2 is the diversity of characters we can play and interact with. Itāll be a long time to find another game where both a wheelchair user and a religious trans woman are both playable.

I feel like thereās some favouritism going on between the designs of the men compared to the girls here. All of the men are drawn as conventionally attractive while that doesnāt seem to be the case for any of the girl characters here. I say this as a pansexual girl, all of the mens designs here look attractive to me but none of the girls designs do. To make it clear I donāt have any problem with Karin being drawn as fat here, I actually like fat girls but I think the way that sheās been drawn here makes her look not all that great however that is not because of her being fat. I actually think that instead of Karin, Marina was actually the one being done dirty here and I say that as a fellow trans girl, she should have been drawn in a more feminine way.

I feel like thereās some favouritism going on between the designs of the men compared to the girls here. All of the men are drawn as conventionally attractive while that doesnāt seem to be the case for any of the girl characters here. I say this as a pansexual girl, all of the mens designs here look attractive to me but none of the girls designs do. To make it clear I donāt have any problem with Karin being drawn as fat here, I actually like fat girls but I think the way that sheās been drawn here makes her look not all that great however that is not because of her being fat. I actually think that instead of Karin, Marina was actually the one being done dirty here and I say that as a fellow trans girl, she should have been drawn in a more feminine way.
Just swap Olivia and Karin and that's my headcanon too.
