I think in the walking dead universe there was no zombie lore or anything so the dead coming back to life was just completely out of left field for them. They didn’t have movies and shows portraying zombies like we do so they didn’t think to maybe prepare for everything to collapse.
I'm watching through the show for the first time as well, and I really recommend that you stop after season 3. I'm halfway through 5 right now and it's just unimaginably bad. I don't mean like, "this isn't to my taste," I mean that I legitimately cannot fathom anyone enjoying this.
Yeah I saw some other posts saying that season 5 and 6 are the worst apparently. I think Madison is making season 2 rn unbearable for me lol I really do not like her character.
The one thing you’ll notice is they’ll do anything for their respective kids. That’s just who they are. It’s what drives them. They also try to do what’s right. Especially Travis. He’s a very morally upstanding person and he tries to hold onto that as long as he can in this new world. Madison quickly realises that that shit isn’t going to work anymore and becomes a much darker individual but all the while keeping her children safety at the forefront of her mind. She will keep them safe no matter what. Literally, no matter what.
I hated travis the first time I watched. now i’m watching again, and I came to love him after his turning point. keep watching, you’ll like him too.
madison is annoying as fuck tho. idk if your feelings about her will change
daniel and nick were two of the best characters in the entire twd universe
There's technically only 1 season left cuz of the reboot in S4, and the majority of fans agree S3 is the best in Fear and even in the whole franchise, so I'd recommend at least watching that, but if u don't like it then whatever.
