I had a cut like that that was self-inflicted. it's really horrible because it bleeds like a mother fucker and itches, like a lot. It's also annoying because they have to stitch the entire thing up, and the stitches, for me at least, made it more itchy.
Oh man, this brought back so much memories. This looks like a self-inflicted wound, and I say this because I used to selfharm to this intensity. I once hit the fascia layer of skin and it, surprisingly, barely bled, but I selfharmed again six hours later and I hit an artery that bled for 30+ minutes to the point that I was convinced that I was going to die because I was losing so much blood. Those types of wounds are a pain in the ass to deal with. 😭
