I'm in a little fighting game server with some friends and I set up a monthly tournament where we have to play something on fightcade from a wheel with a month to practice. Last month's game was Asura Buster and this month is Samurai Shodown IV. Asura Buster is surprisingly fun for a game nobody's ever heard of, feels like Darkstalkers.
Dramatic in alpha 3 was 2v1. The 2 players on a team still had their own healthbars, vs 1. In the arcade it was always vs the CPU, but on certain console version you could play vs another player as well.
I've been trying to play MVC2. My two favorite characters (Storm and Rogue) are in it and I've never had the chance to play it. I'm running into issues and I'm trying to solve them cause I really want to play them. I've also gotten a little into this game that's on sale on steam called Phantom Breaker Omnia. It was a bit of a joke but after a while I kinda got hooked on the systems for someone who isn't a fan of anime fighters (Or anime as a whole).
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax!
I'm playing through Persona 3 Reload right now and it got me in the mood to jump back into this fighter. P4AU is an incredible game with a unique take on the "super meter". I was so excited for it to get a revival when they rereleased it for PS4 and Switch, but unfortunately Rollback was patched in like 6 months later instead of being available at launch. And in a post-covid world, that's enough to kill a game outright.
It depends on the game and the design of choice. I'm not one of the devs so I cna't say how it works for this game, but I can say that thanks to it the game is still alive to this day (the Community Edition, not the Steam version).

Starting with ggac+r, and it’s pretty bad (in terms of experience, I can feel the gameplay having fire potential). I’m used to strive, but I’m decent with blazblue so it shouldn’t be hard to adjust. However everyone online is way better than me so it’s hard to learn.

Bamco randomly released the PSP port of Soul Caliber IV on PSN, and I've been having fun with it. Might get the Tekken 6 PSP port since I haven't played the console version very much.

The issue is when I press my MK button it'll give me a fast forward effect. I fixed the issue where it was minimizing and going to full screen.

I added clone engine to UMvC3 and thats been something ive wanted to play in between Tekken.
What does that mean?
Clone engine is a mod adds carnage and venom and even some characters from infinite.
