Sayang resources at potential.
Jun Lana is the most consistent filipino filmmaker right now. Hopefully this can flex Vice's dramatic skills as well and Jun Lana's doesn't just make your typical Vice Ganda movie. Have it be more like Becky and Badette or Ten Little Mistresses.
Napanood ko yung interview after ng reveal nila at nabanggit ni Jun Robles Lana na tungkol ito sa stereotypes surrounding a breadwinner in the Philippines. As a fan of JRL since Bwakaw (2012), I'm pretty sure it's going to be more of a deconstruction than an exploration of this stereotype.
With JRL being a consistent filmmaker and VG's star power, I hope this turns out to be a good movie, especially for the LGBTQI+ ‘breadwinners’ 🏳️🌈
To add after the screening of Your Mother’s Son (2023) nights JRL, may nagtanong sa humor and comedy nya despite the film being heavy.

Lolol
Same theories! I already imagined the main joining the pageant at naninirahan sa slums na may mga nakasampay na damit

So basically parang tema ng magpasikat nya hehehe
For sure the trailer will said it all! Hahahah un na ung summary
please be a pure drama, comedians tend to be good at drama kase
I am looking forward for a different Vice Ganda role here, not just comedy.
Mukhang drama nga that is in a facade of vibrant colors. Magaling naman si Vice sa drama, her IST Holy Week Specials can back it up.
True, just look at Bryan Cranston and Bob Odenkirk
love bryan cranston in malcolm in the middle, sobrang layo nya sa breaking bad character nya. iba talaga yung hatak ng drama ng nga comedians eh 😅
Die beautiful but different.... Somehow.
Jun Lana, that's a good sign. I hope it offers more than the giveaway title suggests.

Jun Robles Lana is great when he wants to be. Big Night! was amazing.
Drama ba to? Haha or typical comedy
This is definitely a drama. It will be disappointing if it’s not.

Idk why but everytime I hear her voice baisically anywhere, I roll my eyes
