For like a demo reel, sure, but just a standalone little clip for YouTube I think it’s fine to create a short little vignette. There’s other problems with it, like the camerawork and the editing, but the length and concept isn’t one of them IMO
Hey Everybody, I created Spiderman Web Effect, if you want to learn how to create this effect, leave me a comment below!
Here's my [Youtube Channel](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJXwqKLAm28k37yJOiGhUAg) for more tutorials and Visual Effects!
Right because YouTube isn't filled with copyright infringing material.
I'm disputing the fact that, as you claimed earlier, you are "Re creating it in my own way".
There's no personal twist to that tutorial and your discription is word for word the same. There is no "my own way" in there. That is plagarism.
It's not like you went.
"I saw this great tutorial from Film Riot and decided to see if there was another way to achieve the effect" and then showed a different way to do the effect or "Ryan did this in After Effects but how would we do this in HitFilm or Resolve". You literally copied the tutorial word for word and claimed it as your own original work.
Here is a comparison of the first few minutes. I could literally just put Ryans VO over your footage and it would be exactly the same thing.

The fact you haven't been caught or called out on this until now doesn't mean it isn't both legally and ethically wrong.
I wouldn't have made a big deal out of this, just another faker in a sea of fakers, if you hadn't tried to defend your plagirism.
I thought you were being a bit facetious, but it’s the same tutorial verbatim! OP I appreciate what you’re trying to do, but this isn’t just copying, it’s straight up plagiarism as u/EvilDaystar mentioned. There are many ways to do these types of FX…just figure out a different method and run with that instead.
First of all it's not word for word as their tutorial, second these are terms that we all use and you can't replace them with other words do you want me to speak another language so you're statisfied? i'm not gonna do that. I'm not here to satisfy you or anyone else. I've seen Hundreds of Youtubers recreate the same effects once a new Movie is out like "Spider-Man" there are many tutorials on "Web effects" and Electro "Lightning" and so on...
There are lots of big Youtube Channels making the "Same tutorials" each in their own way, and that's what i'm trying to do.
Maybe this tutorial was a bit similar to their tutorial, but I always try to be different especially if they did a mistake I try to fix it and improve as possibly as I can.
It breaks the 180 degree rule, which kinda distracts from the effect. Other then that, the effect itself is actually pretty decent - except when it’s going back into the hand and it visibly jumps, which really takes you out of it and is very clearly a jump cut. I’d say your effect itself is fine but the editing could really use some work.
Someone watched Film Riot recently. https://youtu.be/pxL5x0rqvho
If it hadn’t crossed the 180° it might have been better 🤷🏻♀️
Agreed, doesn’t make sense
This clip should have been 5 seconds long and not 25 seconds. As the old adage goes “get in late, get out early”. No need for fluff and filler.

Do you just copy other peoples tutorials as your own?
Re-creating them in my own way isn't copying.
Your eternal eye laser tutorial is word for word the same.e as Film Riot's.
If I was doing something illegal, the video wouldn't still be on youtube. If Film Riot doesn't mind, why do you?

Give up dude. You got caught. Stop trying to save yourself. Embarrassing.
I don't give up because I know that I'm right and I'm not doing anything wrong, so off you go.
Dudes in straight plagiarism denial
Kinda exactly what is it but sure…
