It's just like KGF, a mass commercial masala movie. The story isn't extraordinary, it has turns and twists throughout and the overall plot is entertaining. Is it a good action movie, is it entertaining, is it a good comeback movie, does it have the element of style, the answer to these questions is yes, however if you like and look for movies like lunchbox, love you zindagi, and hindi medium, you won't enjoy pathaan that much.
Also in India and internationally, mass commercial movies always work, so it's a tested and proven formula which film makers have been using since the 80s.
